Perfecto para vivir una experiencia mexicana auténtica lejos del ambiente de fiesta del centro, pero lo suficientemente cerca para tomar un taxi y unirse a la fiesta. A una cuadra del tranquilo mar Caribe. Nuestro apartamento está bien equipado con todo lo que necesita para sentirse como en casa. Contamos con internet de fibra óptica para que pueda trabajar. ¿Netflix y relajarse? ¿Le gusta cocinar en casa? Tenemos todo lo que necesita.
El espacio

Esta unidad es un apartamento de una habitación completamente amueblado, con una fusión de estilos moderno y tradicional, ubicado en el tercer piso. ¡La parte favorita de los apartamentos será la increíble vista de 360 grados de Isla Mujeres desde la terraza en la azotea!
Acceso de los huéspedes
Los huéspedes tendrán acceso a su apartamento y a la terraza en la azotea. Cada apartamento NO es compartido y cuenta con su propia cocina, baño, etc. La terraza en la azotea es un espacio compartido para que todos los huéspedes se relajen, disfruten y, con suerte, conozcan nuevos amigos.
Otros aspectos que debe tener en cuenta
NO estamos ubicados en el centro. Tómese el tiempo para consultar el mapa de Isla Mujeres; estamos ubicados en La Gloria, una colonia en el centro de la isla. No es una zona hotelera, sino un área residencial. Dicho esto, hay varios restaurantes excelentes cerca. También ofrecemos wifi, pero Isla Mujeres es una isla remota y no cuenta con la misma capacidad que muchos están acostumbrados a tener. Con bastante frecuencia, nuestro internet se interrumpe y esto ocurre aún más durante la temporada alta del año, cuando la isla está a su máxima capacidad. Erika, nuestra encargada de limpieza, está disponible en el lugar, pero no habla inglés. Guadalupe y Kasie están disponibles por mensaje o aquí. Esta es una excelente opción para huéspedes que buscan una experiencia mexicana auténtica.

Kasie is very friendly, good service and attention. Anything I asked for, he handled very quickly. Equipped apartment located in a neighborhood of friendly locals. Very good value for money for being on Isla Mujeres, and public transportation stops 3 blocks away. It costs 20 pesos per trip.

The place doesn't match the photos at all. It was dirty even though they had "cleaned" before check-in. I tried to contact Kasie to get her to support us, but it took a long time for her to respond, and when she did, she wasn't very helpful, as she said they would help, but they did absolutely nothing. The refrigerator smelled very bad because it doesn't work. The photos do not match what is offered, since the place looks almost abandoned. Overall, if you can avoid this place, you will be doing yourself a favor.

I like the location, walking view from a great view of the sunset. It is self guided so that was different but we didn’t have issues at all entering or figuring it out. The key remains on the outside of the door. Since there is no front desk receptionist I wonder how long the key is in the door prior to check in time. Our Airbnb specially didn’t appear to be the cleanest. Stains on the shower curtain, couch, as well as the towels. I’m not sure if they were old stains that just aren’t removed with washing (the towels were folded on the bed) but maybe just replacing them so often will make guest feel like they’re not getting used towels. The roof isn’t a place of sitting to enjoy company but also provides a great view of the sunrise/set if you don’t mind standing. We only stayed for a night away from Cancun and we enjoyed it overall.

The place itself is nice; the terrace is not like the photo, but it is quiet. The area is also very quiet. It just lacked a bit of description of the location because the map sent me to the wrong place, and I had a hard time finding the place. Otherwise, everything was fine.

We had a very concerning experience at this Airbnb and would not recommend it. The neighborhood felt unsafe, we were harassed by someone on the street while trying to park, which immediately made us uneasy. When we arrived, the key was left in the door, which raised serious safety concerns as anyone could have accessed the unit. The shared patio space was also nothing like the listing. It was unsanitary, with stray dogs present and feces on the ground. We reached out to the host, but she was unwilling to offer even a partial refund. We ultimately had to contact Airbnb support and find alternative accommodations on short notice in a different country. Overall, this was a very stressful and disappointing experience.

Very quiet area, perfect for walking and relaxing. The atmosphere is very local, and the accommodation is great for couples and for relaxing. Everything is close by, with several shops and places to eat very nearby. Everything was great!

This place is in a safe, fun, and vibrant Mexican neighborhood as opposed to a touristy area. Lots of small family-owned restaurants within walking distance. The apartment itself was clean and nice size for two people. We would definitely stay in La Gloria again. Unfortunately, the rooftop patio, as other reviews have said, looks nothing like the photos. There is no shade, no outdoor bed, just a few bedraggled cushions and dog poop everywhere. This is the first time I have felt scammed by a listing, since we booked largely on the basis of that patio. There was an island-wide water issue (not Kasie's fault) but after the water was back on and pressure in all faucets was normal, the toilet wasn't filling at all... not a drop. For 24 hours, she didn't respond to my request to have someone look at it, so we had to fill it manually from the kitchen sink... not a relaxing vacation. Kasie said she'd provide beach towels & coffee maker, but neither was in the unit. Erika brought them later.
