If I could give Daniela's house 6 stars, I would. The house is as nice as any 5-star hotel I've stayed in. Everything is accurate to the photos, but it's the little things that truly made the difference -- complimentary robes in each room, high quality sheets and soap in the showers, and attentive, yet unobtrusive staff. The morning breakfast was a highlight of the trip for everyone in our family. The home is close to all the shopping and restaurants in the walled city, but just far enough from the center that you can get a good night's sleep. The home has incredible history and context (read the AD article!), with lots of fun details to discover. Daniela was incredibly helpful connecting us with a driver for excursions (check out the bird sanctuary in Baru), boat service to Rosario Islands, and more. Worth every penny. We hope to return!

Fantastic home very near Hotel Santa Clara and San Diego square. Very quiet yet very close to restaurants, bars, plaza. The house is beautiful with a wonderful pool to cool off in and has fabulous staff. The pictures are great but the house is even nicer. Great decor, very stylish, and comfortable. Each of the bedrooms is large and beautiful. The breakfasts were delicious. The value is also fabulous. It's much nicer than staying at the Santa Clara across the street yet much lower cost for a family. Daniela was great at answering all our questions. We have travelled all over the world and stayed in many great places and this is right at the top.

Unbeatable location. An oasis of calm and privacy in the middle of the action. You have everything at your doorstep. Once you step inside, it’s a wonderful private space to feel at home with friends and family. Top service from cleaning, cooking. Super friendly staff always friendly and ready to help. Every detail of the house is looked after, from linens to utensils to toiletries - meticulously curated and looked after. Loved our stay and both Daniela and the staff were fully vested in making sure we enjoyed it. Thank you!

Words cannot express how grateful I am to have spent 6 nights in this dreamy home with my family. I loved it so much, I did my wedding photos at the house which was a dream come true. Daniela is phenomenal, as well as the wonderful staff who take care of the home. Everything was so beautiful and historic. Every corner beautifully decorated. Having stayed at luxury properties from St. Barts, to Maldives, Daniela has created Magic with this house, which cannot be compared to anything I have seen. Please don’t think about booking, just do it!

I can’t say enough great things about this home! The energy, the vibes, the details, the staff! We have an amazing time here for a week- I didn’t want to leave! The staff were so great, they were attentive, the chef is amazing, and Jose is the best! Located right in the walled old city of Cartagena… this place is a GEM! 💎 Will be back soon! Thanks for the best vacation!

We stayed here for our wedding and this place was a dream. The pictures are beautiful and somehow it’s even better in person. Hospitality was top notch. If you’re thinking about booking this place just do it.

Possibly the best Airbnb we've ever stayed in. An absolute oasis of calm in a vibrant city. We couldn't quite believe how good it was when we arrived. Daniela was incredibly friendly and supportive throughout, and everything was clear. For all intents and purposes, it's like staying in a private 4 bedroom hotel. Staff on-hand to help with whatever we needed, a great breakfast each morning. Can't say enough good things.

This is by far the most beautiful home in Cartagena. The photos don’t even do it justice — the place is simply stunning, and there are intricate, beautiful details in every nook and corner of the home. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the extreme attention to detail is clear from the moment you walk in. Everyone was just in awe. The house staff were wonderful and helpful. Communication with the host Daniela was great throughout. I used the home as my bridal suite for my wedding. It’s perfectly situated across from the Sofitel Legend (a convenient 1 min walk). The setting for bridal/getting ready photos and first look photos with my fiancé were a dream come true. I know our photographer was equally as elated to be able to shoot those moments here and we had a lot of fun finding creative spaces around the house. If you’re thinking to stay, don’t hesitate — it’s with every single penny!

We loved staying at Casa del Torno! The space, staff and attention to detail leave no room for complaint. Daniela was extremely responsive and accommodating. We absolutely loved sitting outside in the patio to hang out and catch up. Pictures sometimes are misleading but not in this case. Not only was it vibrant and wonderfully decorated but it was also very clean, roomy and a few steps to lots of restaurants. We will definitely stay at Casa del Torno again.
