I just stayed there for a week and it was AMAZING! The team was incredible, took care of our every need, and the chef - Oscar - was the highlight of everyone's trip. The house was amazing, and the concierge was so helpful in all of my planning efforts. The house is close to good restaurants - Maya Bistro, Umaya Resort (both the taco place and the smoothies are delicious). I would 10/10 recommend this property and the Gecko team to anyone!

This property is beautiful, and exactly as described. The location is great as it is right on the beach and you have access to a pier. It is also close enough to drive your golf cart to restaurants. We will definitely be staying again.

great place, great stay!! we all enjoyed every minute. there were 10 of us and we were not crowded at all. Damian was our chef and he was phenomenal!! The home was beautiful, the beach was amazing!

There were 12 of us that stayed for about 6 nights. The staff was extremely accommodating and respectful. Brenda came every day to clean up/make our beds/and do our laundry. Manuel was our chef and did an amazing job. Even tho we came in the rainy season, we had full sun during most days. It was very well worth it and I’d recommend to anyone with a large group staying in Placencia :)

We had the best time in Placencia at the Jamin Gecko! I do not have the words to describe how amazing our stay was. I can say I guarantee if you have the opportunity to stay here you absolutely should. 10’s across the board!!!!

Chef, housekeeping and all Amenities were absolutely incredible! Location is incredible. Concierge service is quite possibly one of the most frustrating and worst concierge experiences I’ve ever encountered in all of my travels. Incredibly difficult time booking services, even when requested a month in advance. I recommend going over everything you want 3x with days and times. Also costs as if they book things for you such as the airplane from Belize City they will charge you extra instead you can book Maya Air on your own. The first flight they booked for us wasn’t the correct time and we would have missed our plane. We had to point out this issue for them to rebook. The chef expense was worth it. We do recommend buying your own food as from what we saw the prices they provided were much more expensive than what we purchased in town. Also, the golf cart wasn’t filled up with gas. I had to spend $55 blz to fill up and we didn’t even use the full amount the tank held. We don’t recommend the guitarist, as it was $230 usd and he didn’t play the whole time and more or less socialized. We highly recommend booking the drummers. That was by far one of the highlights of our trip. The property was great, pool was cleaned everyday, beach cleaned of the seaweed that washed up everyday… I recommend. Thanks

Beautiful home, perfect setting and scenery. Slightly remote, but with such a beautiful house with the pool and ocean out the back door, we didn’t need much of anything. Laundry service every day was great!! Our chef was fantastic and super nice. ***This has nothing to do with the house, but the mosquitoes or something really had a field day on me and my daughter, so come prepared with bug spray!

The overall experience at Jammin Gecko was terrific. The house was beautiful and immaculate. The staff was onsite, so they were available day and night during the stay. Mabel, Manuel, and Orlando were fantastic. I love that laundry service was provided every day, making it very convenient to pack up our suitcases with all clean clothes. The only area I would say needs attention is the communication around fees and what forms of payments are accepted by the vendors. For example, the vendor for the groceries we selected only accepted cash for price. The covid testing center we were told took Venmo as a form of charge; however, that was not the case. Overall I would recommend Jammin Gecko.
