We had such an excellent, comfortable stay at this house in playa grande. All the beds were super comfortable, the grounds were very pretty, and it was a great location just a couple minutes walk to playa grande.

The overall location is good. The house was ok for it’s age. It is outdated and not as nice as it appears in the photos. The apartment should come included with the rest of the house as it wasn’t really worth the price. There is no weather stripping in the entire house which caused flooding under doors and numerous ants in the apartment. They did try to remedy the ants as there were lots of ants dying all over the apartment. The towels in the apartment need to be replaced as well as the pillows. The tv never worked in the apartment. Unfortunately, the beds are very uncomfortable. The group managing the property was fairly responsive and came to fix the bathroom right away when there was issues with sink. Overall, we still enjoyed our stay but the cost vs quality was not quite there.

Had a fantastic stay here with a group of friends and would absolutely come back. The location is unbeatable, Playa Grande has so much to offer and this place puts you right in the middle of it all. The space was clean, well-stocked, and ready for us from the moment we arrived. What really stood out was the host, incredibly responsive whenever we had any questions or needed anything. Highly recommend and can't wait to return!

Great property in a great location. I've been to Playa Grande many times and this is one of the best properties available and for a great price. Providing beach chairs and a shade cover were great bonuses. Not everyone does that and it is so amazingly helpful. Many thanks for an easy, enjoyable, fun stay!

We had a great time here! The house was only a few minute walk from the beach. Shawna was great communicating with us when the power went out for a few hours one day. The house felt very private and clean. We would definitely recommend staying here!!!!!!

Our family of 7 stayed at Casa de La Vida Grande for a week in April and hands down we could have not picked a better location or house. We loved our stay there and enjoyed both the short walk to the beach and the restaurants that were also within walking distance. We loved seeing the howler monkeys and parrots in the trees around the property and also got to see iguanas, raccoons, and lots of other birds daily while sitting on the porch. Colin was a great host and made sure he provided us with a very detailed information packet for everything to make our stay easy.

We had such an amazing stay here!!! It was a great and big space for our whole family. We loved walking each night to the beach as playa Grande is our favorite! The pool was perfect and so refreshing in the hot sun! Kids loved it as did adults. There were howler monkeys, iguanas, and birds! It was so cool being in the elements. The beach towels, chairs, and boogie boards were such a nice touch. We would definitely go back!!

Very nice house, with the beach within a walking distance. Large enough for an extended family of 6 adults and 3 children

We loved our week in this area. Shawna was fantastic: she did our grocery shopping before we arrived, and she came to see us during our stay to introduce herself. The wildlife is super active near the house: monkeys, iguanas, birds! An incredible experience, but you have to empty the outside trash cans, since the animals turn them upside down during the night. The ants are very annoying in the house, especially in the kitchen and the bathroom on the ground floor. We couldn’t let our clean dishes dry because the ants were crawling all over them. On our last day, the water in the house was cut off, and we had not been notified. It was very disappointing for the last day of our vacation, when we had to take a shower (9 people). The house is old: there are several electrical outlets, but they don’t work. This house could use a little love.

Beautiful house in a lovely neighborhood. We enjoyed the pool and outdoor amenities. Private and peaceful. The beach was a bit far for our little kids to walk but definitely doable for adults.
