Great place, great host. Loved this place for family getaway. Location is perfect.

Excellent place privileged location with spectacular views. Nature in its maximum splendor, trails in the mountain in which you can observe squirrels, monkeys, many types of birds. Highly recommended to spend a few days at sea

Villa Tortuga is beautiful, peaceful and the location is great. Great service, staff is immediately available with help. My husband got injured in the ocean and there was a doctor on site that helped him immediately. Also we were able to order food to be delivered at the house. The ocean view and access is incredible. The house is private and therefore a little difficult to get there, much easier with a 4x4.

We loved our stay at the Villa Tortuga on Playa Maderas. The host, Dr. Wilfredo, was extremely helpful and communicative both before and during our stay. He helped arrange transport from Managua, assisted with an early check-in, and responded immediately at all hours during our stay when we had questions or issues. The property itself is magnificent. Villa Tortuga is even more beautiful than the pictures. It is private, secluded, backs up to the jungle and has an unbelievable view of the pacific ocean and the "Shark fin Rock". This is a perfect spot for sunsets. The Villa had AC, hot water, WiFi, a lounge pool, rocking chairs, 2 hammocks, cutlery, pots and pans and its own yoga gazebo higher up the hill. Beach access is a short walk and there are restaurants and bars on the beach in both directions and a surf shop (ask for Orlando!). We loved our stay highly recommend it for anyone visiting this area and looking for seclusion and natural beauty.

What a beautiful place! I really enjoyed it, it's the place to relax and connect with nature. The whole place was clean, tidy and spotless. IT HAS A SPECTACULAR VIEW, the sunrise and especially the sunset looks so beautiful . We thank Ricardo and all his team for their excellent and instant attention. It definitely became one of my favorite places, I'll be back soon.

Our family (5 adults, 2 kids) stayed at Villa Tortuga for 2 weeks and had a wonderful experience. You can not beat the view, the beach is just a 5 minute walk away and it feels very private despite being in a complex of multiple villas. There is lots of wildlife around, like howler monkeys and geckos. The staff were absolutely amazing, keeping the villas, pools and grounds well-cleaned. 10/10 experience, can't wait to come back some day!

Just make sure to bring a 4x4 and enjoy the stay.

We loved at our stay. It was a tree house at the beach. It had rustic accents with all the amenities we needed. We were very comfortable and felt very safe. We’re looking forward to staying at Villas Maderas again. I’ve never experienced better internet in Nicaragua and we had 3 people working remotely simultaneously. We never had any issues or latency. The view is spectacular from multiple parts of the home including the pool. All the bedrooms are upstairs and you access them via an external staircase but there is a full bathroom downstairs which was very convenient. There is good lighting everywhere. Whenever we needed something, the concierge was very responsive. Everyone was kind and helpful. This is a must stay!

We love spending our vacation there. It has a breathtaking view. It's paradise. The rooms are comfortable and the house is well equipped. We will definitely be back.
