The Space
Experience a luxurious beachfront retreat at this Mareazul condo in Playa del Carmen, offering direct access to the beach and a remarkable 130-meter pool. Ideal for families or groups of up to 10 guests, the condo includes three roomy bedrooms each with private bathrooms, plus a fourth "helper" room with a twin bed and its own bathroom. The modern kitchen is fully equipped, and a private terrace features your own plunge pool for relaxation.
The condo is bright and tastefully decorated. The living area has a sectional sofa, chair, coffee table, and a large flat-screen television for family enjoyment. The dining room showcases a handcrafted Parota wood table with upholstered chairs and benches. Additionally, there is a breakfast bar with three stools for casual meals.
The kitchen comes with an oven, stove, double-door refrigerator, dishwasher, and ample cabinet space. Small appliances include a drip coffee maker, Nespresso and espresso machines, bean grinder, blender, toaster, and kettle. Basic pantry items and utensils are provided. A washer and dryer are also available for guest use.
Bedrooms
- Primary Bedroom: King-size bed, large walk-in closet, sliding glass doors leading to the deck and hot tub. The bathroom features a shower, double sinks, and houses the unit’s safe.
- Second Bedroom: Two double beds, private bathroom, sliding door to a private balcony, and a desk for work.
- Third Bedroom: Queen-size bed with a single trundle bed underneath, en-suite bathroom, and private balcony.
- Fourth Room: Suitable for a helper or a young child needing guard rails. Includes a small private bathroom but no exterior access or views.
Deck & Pool
The verandah offers a family dining table for outdoor meals. Outside the master bedroom, there are two chairs and a table for morning coffee. The plunge pool deck includes two lounge chairs for sunbathing. The wraparound shallow plunge pool, measuring 80 square meters, is perfect for cooling off and supervising children. The pool is maintained daily by condominium staff.

The entire unit is private for your stay. After the initial entry, guests receive a parking pass for automatic access and a door passcode for self check-in.
Other Details
- The private plunge pool is exclusive to the condo and is shallow.
- The condo is all on one level with garden access.
- A ramp is installed to accommodate guests with mobility challenges, managing the 6-inch step at the entrance.
- Cleaning and linens fee: Regular cleaning is $40. Laundry is outsourced and charged based on weight, ranging from $85 to $200 USD depending on the volume and type of items washed. This cost is shared with guests.
- A refundable security deposit of $500 is required for guests without prior Airbnb reviews. This deposit is handled through Airbnb and returned within 24 hours after departure, following a property inspection.

Katherine’s condo was very clean, and spacious! It was perfect for our group of seven. Both the condo and the grounds are really peaceful, in a gated and safe community. Katherine and Andres were very responsive to my questions. Great condo in Playa del Carmen!

We were pleasantly surprised by how spacious Katherine's condo was. The laundry room actually has a single bed and bathroom, so there's a total of 4 separate bedrooms that each have their own bathroom. The condo was in great condition and very clean, which is often not the case with beach rentals. The property felt very safe and was well maintained, and there's a great open air restaurant by the pool that we ate at several times. Katherine was also very responsive whenever we had questions. I'd highly recommend renting a car because the property is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Playa del Carmen, so you'll want the convenience of being able to drive. Also, if you see comments about sargassum, we found that if there's days where it is bad at the beach at Mareazul, it will be the same way at any of the beaches in the area. They do a great job working to keep the beach clean, but there may be times where you can't avoid it regardless of where you stay in Playa del Carmen.

We had a great time at Katherine's place! It was plenty of room for our group (4 adults and 3 teens). The plunge pool off the back patio was lovely. It's a short walk to the pools and beach. The restaurants were right out back and had good food for good prices. We all felt very safe staying here and I would stay again. Katherine was very responsive and friendly :)

Place was really great! Perfect space for 8 of us to celebrate my parents 50th anniversary together. The beach was beautiful and on property restaurants served good food and drinks. Downtown Playa del Carmen was an easy walk or cab ride.

We had a wonderful 9-night stay with our group of 6 adults and 2 toddlers. The villa's highlight is its prime location right next to a huge, kid-friendly pool which our toddlers absolutely loved! The complex offers excellent amenities including a gym, spa, and two fantastic restaurants. We particularly enjoyed breakfast at the beachfront restaurant, and appreciated the attentive beach service with chairs and umbrellas provided. One note for future guests: while advertised as a 4-bedroom, the fourth bedroom doubles as a utility room with laundry machines, cleaning supplies, and electrical panels, making it impractical for sleeping. Consider this a 3-bedroom property when planning your stay. Despite this limitation, our stay was absolutely amazing. The entire complex is immaculately maintained, and we made full use of all the resort-style facilities.

El alojamiento para mi gusto es inmejorable, el complejo tiene muy buena ubicacion, a 5 min de la 5ta avenida en coche, la alberca es increible y la playa hermosa y tranquila. El complejo cuenta con un mini super que te saca del apuro. Si vas con niños, tiene corralito y carriola a tu disposicion. Durante nuestra estancia hubo un detalle con la luz, por una tormenta que habia habido, al no regresar pronto, hizo todo lo posible por mantenernos comodos y nos traslado a unos departamentos enfrente que si tenian luz, ella junto con Andres se movieron para lograr esto. mi experiencia fue muy buena, unicamente por ese detalle de la luz que entendimos estuvo fuera de sus manos, y dentro de todo, hicieron todo lo posible por solucionarlo. sugeriria tuviera el complejo una planta de luz apra evitar estas situaciones. en general, excelente experiencia, regresaria sin duda.
