Peaceful and safe house 5 mins from the beach

Lorraine's house was amazing. I have rarely stayed in Airbnb's with the same cleaning standards as I have for my own house, but her house was SPOTLESS and so well taken care of. It was cozy and comfortable, had a beautiful view, gorgeous surroundings and was so well-stocked. It also had an incredible sun porch that we had our coffee on every morning. I still miss it! Lorraine met us at the house when we got there to show us everything and explain how everything worked, which was really great. She and her husband, Real, live on the property, which was also helpful. They were available if needed, but also gave us privacy. She had a book of recommendations in the house, and we used her recommendations to go ziplining one day. The private pool and patio were great, and we used them all 3 nights we were there. We also used the community pool a couple of afternoons, which had a fabulous view of the ocean and only 2 other people in it both times we were there. It was a great stay!

Our family had a fantastic time at Lorraine and Réal’s home. The location in a private, gated community was beautiful and convenient for visiting nearby beaches and restaurants in town. We enjoyed watching the sunset from the private pool (so nice at the end of a hot day), and while we were there, we saw monkeys, iguanas, geckos, and many birds. The house was thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We cooked one dinner on the Blackstone griddle on the patio and found all the kitchen equipment in fantastic shape. Non-stick pans were nonstick, and knives were sharp! Also, special recognition is required for the special deluxe toilet paper. ;) Lorraine and Réal were so friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their home for anyone looking to stay in the area.

Absolutely gorgeous home and surrounding neighborhood with lots of privacy around the home itself and we felt very safe with Lorraine and Real in the house right next door. The private pool was awesome and we also enjoyed the club pool. There were lots of things to do and Lorraine was very helpful getting us passes on short notice when we decided to try the animal sanctuary, the Thermal adventure, etc. We went deep sea fishing and the charter picked us up right at the beach 5 mins away! This home is very luxurious, drinkable water, bathrooms that worked well, an amazing terrace and great outdoor space too. I did a yoga class with Lorraine and it was a fabulous way to start a day ❤️

The house is beautiful, the pictures do not do justice to how wonderful it is. The house is clean, with a well equipped kitchen and the appliances work great. Everything you need is there and the pots and pans are in good condition. There are air conditioning units in all the bedrooms but not in the living room or dining room. There is really no need as there is plenty of air that comes through the big windows and doors. The outdoor space is wonderful, the private pool is great! There is also the club pool but we had no need to use it. Lorraine and Real are available if you need anything and they are super friendly. The best hosts! Thank you for letting us spend a few days in your gorgeous house. We had the best time!

Great place to stay! Very close to amazing beaches and activities! Wonderful place for the family to spend time together.

Nous avons avons fait 4 maisons pour visiter le Costa Rica et retenons la maison de Lorraine et Réal comme notre top 1! Piscine privée super et commune incroyable seulement pour nos 2 familles, Peut-être car nous sommes en basse saison. Il y a tout le confort nécessaire, la maison est très bien équipée: cuisine, salle de bain, buanderie… rien à redire. Au cœur de la nature nous avons été ravis d’être immergés avec la faune locale. Nous avons pu apercevoir des singes capucins et des singes hurleurs, un scorpions… merci pour ce séjour chez vous, c’était un bonheur!

Nous venons d'y passer 2 semaines. Nous étions 5 adultes et 2 enfants de 1 1/2 an et 3 ans. La maison était très confortable, propre, très bien équipée avec une belle piscine rafraichissante, on s'y sentait chez-soi. Elle est bien située avec de nombreuses plages à proximité dont Playa Panama, notre préférée pour les enfants et qui se trouve à seulement 5 minutes de la maison. Parfaite pour les enfants car pas de courant et peu de vagues. Lorraine et Réal sont disponibles en tout temps, ils répondent très vite. Bref, un petit coin de paradis!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Encantada. It was private and peaceful. It is meticulously maintained and very clean. Lorraine and Real are helpful hosts, who have lived in Costa Rica a long time and have many great recommendations for the area. Highly recommended!

Lorraine and Real's home was beautiful. Four of us stayed and we were very comfortable, but it could have accommodated more easily. The terrace was so nice for coffee in the morning or drinks in the evening. Real took great care of the property, he maintained the pool daily. The neighborhood was very safe with guards at the gate (they were professional and kind). For me, what really made this place stand out was Lorraine and Real. They live next door and were so helpful with anything we needed and any questions we had. They are lovely people and made the stay extra special.
