Seaside Rustic Retreat 4BR Oasis with Private Pool

Rustic! We loved it for two nights but happy to upgrade after that. Price was good for what it is. No AC was a little hard on everyone through the nights but I loved the sound of the ocean and geckos. Super cool surfers crashing house. Not a lot of privacy for very large groups. Perfect location for surfing. I sat on the beach at 4:30am with coffee, towels and my favorite surf shammy and I left my sweatpants there to walk down the beach when the sun started coming up and when I returned all my things were gone!! My pants and towels. They left my coffee cup. So at 5ish AM someone took all my belongings. Very uncomfortable knowing someone was right outside the gate and took my things. I asked Gabriela but it wasn’t her so it made me feel very uncomfortable for the rest of the stay and I was always looking outside at night. BUT still think the place is cool

My family and friends 8 guests total had a terrific stay at the casa. We were thrilled with the location, just steps from the beach and a fun stroll along the shore to Taramindo over the estuary by a quick and fun boat ride.The house while showing its age a bit, had all the amenities we could have wanted. The pool was fantastic as we spent most of our time outdoors enjoying the quiet and private oasis. The local cafe's and grocery store were a minutes away and were wonderful. Our house keeper Gabriella was attentive and we felt well taken care of. This was an excellent value and hope to return.

The hostess was very responsive to our needs and any questions we had she was able to answer.

Great place, easy access to surf break, cozy.

My group had rented this place last year at about the same time of year. My group enjoyed how private it felt and the beach was never crowded. The beach was just beyond the back of the property and easy enough to walk to. Though there is no air conditioning, there are plenty of fans, in the bedrooms and through the house. We enjoyed that we could keep the house windows open for the fresh ocean air and listening to the wildlife. Helpful to have a clean pool and a covered area to eat and sit and relax. Our caretaker, Gabriela, was each day cleaning the pool and grounds around the house and was helpful with anything else was needed.

Beautiful unpretentious home. A tad on the rustic side, but supports beach living perfectly. The rooms are simply appointed but everything you need is present. House supports outdoor living at its best. Proximity to the beach and the pool make this place amazing. Less than half a block from great food. Neighborhood very chill, walkable, and friendly.
