We had a nice stay at Arenal Deluxe Villas (Black Village). Fabian was friendly, responsive, and helpful, including arranging for us to use a nearby washing machine when the one at the property was out of service. The property itself is beautiful, with relaxing shared spaces and a gorgeous river area. The surroundings are peaceful and scenic. That said, our villa could use some maintenance. It was smaller than we expected, and the kitchen is more of a kitchenette with a countertop induction stove rather than a conventional full kitchen. We also experienced shower water leaking toward the kids’ room, a warped shower mirror/shelf, a cracked TV remote with a loose battery cover, loose cabinet doors, and a hanging deck light. Overall, a beautiful property in a great setting, but the individual unit would benefit from some maintenance and upkeep.

A bit difficult to find especially at night. I suggest getting a solar powered light with some indicator on where tu turn in. Otherwise absolutely genuine

Had a nice stay! The host responded very quickly and provided us with useful information about activities in the region. There are a lot of kitchen appliances available, and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was pleasant. A comfortable and well-equipped place that is well located to enjoy in peace.

Lovely villa, massage along river was so peaceful! Walk along river trail was so much fun with lots to see! Fabian was a wonderful host. We highly recommend and would stay here again!
