Ubicación
Casa Mona Lisa está ubicada en una calle arbolada en Centro, San Miguel de Allende, un destino romántico reconocido por la UNESCO. El centro del pueblo está a diez minutos a pie, con fácil acceso a la Parroquia, restaurantes, bares, galerías de arte y boutiques.
En el interior, la casa combina elegancia y lujo con un ambiente acogedor diseñado para brindar comodidad.
El espacio
La sala principal cuenta con:
- Un diseño de planta abierta
- Una cautivadora chimenea
- Un tradicional techo con vigas de madera
- Un techo abovedado con tragaluz que llena la habitación de luz natural
- Cómodos muebles de sala en madera y cuero
- Máscaras de arte popular pintadas a mano que datan del período colonial español
La decoración evoca el carácter romántico del siglo XVII, al tiempo que mantiene un ambiente cómodo y acogedor.
Cocina y patio interior
La cocina totalmente equipada está coronada por un hermoso techo abovedado de tipo boveda y es ideal para preparar comidas en casa.
Justo después de la cocina, un patio interior ofrece un entorno tranquilo para las comidas matutinas. El espacio está rodeado de exuberante vegetación y enredaderas maduras, y cuenta con una fuente de cantera tallada meticulosamente a mano.

Habitación del primer piso
El primer piso incluye una de las tres amplias habitaciones de la casa, amueblada con:
- Una cómoda cama king-size
- Un vestidor
- Una chimenea rodeada de asientos
- Un sofá para relajarse o ver televisión
- Un baño privado con atemporales azulejos blancos pintados a mano y gabinetes de madera
Habitación del segundo piso
Una elegante escalera conduce al segundo piso, bajo un techo abovedado con un colibrí de vitrales.
La segunda habitación incluye:
- Una cama king-size
- Una chimenea privada
- Un baño privado
- Un vestidor
- Un balcón estilo Julieta con puertas tradicionales de hierro y vidrio
- Un amplio techo de ladrillo tipo boveda
- Un nicho blanco alrededor de la cama
- Suave iluminación romántica integrada en las esquinas de la boveda
El balcón permite la entrada de luz natural a la habitación, mientras que el diseño espacioso crea un ambiente acogedor para relajarse por las noches.

Al otro lado del patio del segundo piso, la tercera habitación cuenta con:

Terraza
La amplia terraza está rodeada de vibrantes buganvilias. Desde este entorno íntimo, se puede escuchar el canto de los pájaros y el fluir de la fuente en el patio de abajo. Es un espacio acogedor para disfrutar de bebidas y conversar.

Hay un garaje privado para un automóvil, ideal para un vehículo pequeño.

In town a for a wedding and this was an amazing house for my family of four. Yoko was easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Sam also checked in with me. I appreciated their flexibility. Air conditioning in all the rooms was nice. House is beautifully decorated. The bedrooms have plenty of space, comfortable beds, and walk in closets. Downstairs room has early morning natural light so bring eye covers if sensitive. This did not bother me. Showers had hot water and good water pressure. Plenty of soft towels in each bathroom. Large bottles of drinking water was a big plus. Kitchen decor is gorgeous! We did not cook but there were plenty of pots, pans, utensils. Plenty of drinking glasses, plates, bowels all beautiful like the ones you see in Mexican shops. Nice living room/dinning room for family/friends to get together. I highly recommend this house. Bring comfortable walking shoes.

This house was great in terms of look/comfortablity and was in a nice location but there were bed bugs and my partner and I woke up with over +50 welts/bites on our faces, arm, leg, back, everywhere. We were here for our engagement photos and wedding venue shopping and it completely affected our stay and time here, so much that we are still suffering today and have been back and forth to the pharmacy to get it under control. It was very gross seeing the physical bugs in bed - we had to even throw away clothes because of this. Would not expect to pay this much let alone AT ALL to go through this.

This was a very nice place. Close to downtown, easy to get to. Would recommend to anyone looking for a close to centro place that's very affordable and comfortable.

Absolutely beautiful home in Centro. We especially loved the three different outdoor patio areas, including one on the roof. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. 3.5 baths were great also. The manager was on top of everything and responded quickly when we had a question. My group of five women loved it . Very pleasant and Overall 5 -star experience!

We enjoyed our stay in this colonial style house with great furnishings, house manager and house keeper. The urban neighborhood was lively with characteristic vibe, stores, & cafes. Some noise of interior home renovations, but generally respectful for sleeping hours. We enjoyed walks to the central and business districts, as well as neighborhood market and businesses.

I took my boyfriend, children and their partners to SMA for the first time, and all absolutely loved it (as I knew they would). The city is magical, and Sam's house is perfectly sited to easily explore all of the wonderful restarurants, shops, sites and bars that Centro has to offer, as well as the many great little restaurants tucked away in San Antonio. The house is wonderful and was perfect for three couples -- we each had our own private en-suite space with lovely outdoor patios to enjoy. Overall it was a wonderful trip, enhanced by a great house that was set in a perfect location.

Very nice place in a convenient location. Easily walkable from the main square and Parroquia. Check-in and checkout very simple and the videos Yoko sent with how to get in/out and how to operate the equipment were helpful. Excellent communication before and during the stay.

Nice house, it matches the photos. We had a few noisy nights, people fighting on the street; it's not the host's fault
