Brisa del Pacifico Eco House offers a peaceful retreat set on a private 2+ acre property just minutes from Montezuma. Surrounded by abundant wildlife, guests can relax beside the saltwater infinity pool while enjoying constant cooling ocean breezes.

This luxurious eco-friendly home features stunning panoramic ocean views and is designed to blend sustainable living with comfort. The property is nestled on a hill above Montezuma, providing privacy, security, and breathtaking ever-changing scenery.

The house is located within the eco-community of Armonia and is perfectly suited for outdoor living. Every room opens onto the deck and infinity pool, ensuring all guests have access to beautiful views and fresh air.

All bedroom furniture is handcrafted by the builder using locally farmed laurel wood.

Kitchen and Living Areas

The spacious kitchen and great room feature granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. Large sliding glass doors open onto a covered lanai overlooking the infinity pool and lush gardens filled with flowers, fruit trees, and native mature trees that attract toucans, parrots, and monkeys.

The lanai includes outdoor ceiling fans, energy-efficient lighting, and comfortable lounge chairs. An outdoor shower by the pool offers a refreshing way to cool off.

Eco-Friendly Features

• Solar panels provide hot water and electricity for the pool.
• Fourteen photovoltaic solar panels supply all electricity needs for the pool and feed excess power to the grid.
• Hot water is 100% solar heated.
• Water is sourced from a well in Armonia, known for its abundance and excellent taste.
• Energy-efficient air conditioning units with individual controls in each room, supplemented by ceiling fans.
• The home strives to be carbon neutral.

Outdoor Spaces

• Rooftop tiled terrace with panoramic ocean and property views
• Gas barbecue and outdoor sink on the terrace for alternative cooking options
• Two-acre property with access to the surrounding 25-acre Armonia neighborhood and nature trails

Wildlife and Nature

Guests can enjoy early morning walks along nature trails leading to a river running through Armonia’s 25 acres. Wildlife sightings may include iguanas, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, armadillos, toucans, hummingbirds, parrots, and more.

Location

Brisa del Pacifico is situated 1.5 kilometers north of Montezuma, easily accessible by car (4 minutes), bus, or taxi.

• Public bus stop located 250 meters from the house on the main road to Montezuma and Cobano.
• Bus fare: under US $2 to Montezuma or Cobano.
• Additional bus from Cobano to other beaches costs about US $3.50.
• Taxi fares: approximately US $6 to Montezuma and US $10 to Cobano.

About Montezuma

Once a quiet fishing village discovered in the 1980s by naturalists, artists, and hippies, Montezuma retains its charming bohemian vibe. It is a popular destination for eco-tourists, conservationists, adventure seekers, and beach lovers.

Unlike many Costa Rican beach towns that sprawl along the coast, Montezuma’s downtown is compact and walkable, featuring local artists, handmade crafts, established shops, and restaurants all within easy reach.
