This was an amazing place to stay! After five nights we wanted to stay longer but already had flights booked for home. We left feeling recharged and rested. Lukas, his girlfriend, staff, friends, and other guests were all interesting and fun people. Ometepe is awesome, and this is the best place to stay for peace and as a base to explore the island.

We loved our stay and would have stayed longer if we could! The cabin was right on the waters edge with stunning views of the volcano! There is hammocks to relax in and kayaks available for rent. Kayaking up the river is a must do! Lukas was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

One of the best places I’ve ever stayed. Beautiful cabins right by the water, hammocks — absolutely wonderful! Lukas is a very kind person. We wish you all the very best!

Maybe the best deal on the island! Great value for the money. Best sunsets on the island. Very beautiful setting. The bungalows are right on the beach. Lukas is very friendly host. The internet was not the best but I took it as a good thing. Recommended!

Amazing stay! Quiet, clean, and full of friendly animals! Great, attentive host, well maintained grounds. Would absolutely stay again in the future.

The view and location were beautiful! The views of the volcano and the lake were great! Unfortunately, we were not so enthusiastic about the rest. On the first evening it rained very heavily and the roof was leaking, so the entire bed was wet and you could hardly sleep. It rained directly on it. As compensation, we immediately received a new cottage and were invited to breakfast. Thank you :) Unfortunately, we could not sleep much more in the following nights, because we were constantly awakened by the barking of fighting dogs (last night 14 times). We were also not informed about the ants that bite very actively. On the way to the outdoor toilet, which is very far away, you could not avoid them. According to the information, oil and salt should be available, but you always had to ask for them. So you always had to wait until you saw the host by chance. Beautiful view, but unfortunately not recommended!
