The apartment is located on Main Street in Playa Chiquita, the quietest and safest area of Puerto Viejo, a few meters from the most beautiful beach in the Caribbean. A few meters away you will also find restaurants, supermarkets, and bike rentals. The area is well connected and a few minutes by car from downtown, Punta Uva, Playa Cocles, and Manzanillo. The space The apartment is completely private and does not share spaces with other guests or with the owners except for the main entrance of the property. Is located inside a completely closed and secure property, surrounded by Caribbean nature where you can see birds, sloths and monkeys. It consists of the main room with a double bed, a bathroom, the kitchen area and a private porch overlooking the wonderful tropical garden. It is a completely brick construction in Mediterranean style, completely protected by mosquito nets that will keep all unwanted insects away. The apartment has private parking that overlooks the main road (not closed) and has security cameras active 24 hours. It is a very safe neighborhood, we also left our car in the same parking lot and in the 8 years we have lived here nothing has ever happened. We always put all our work and our passion to offer the best accommodation for our guests. We do not charge cleaning costs but we invite you to respect this space and help us by leaving the apartment as clean and tidy as you found it. The area is very quiet and surrounded by nature, a perfect place to rest and relax. The beach, considered the most beautiful in the Caribbean, is a 5-minute walk from the apartment and is reached through a path surrounded by nature. Guest access The apartment is located in Playa Chiquita, a very well-connected and accessible neighborhood where you can get everything you need in a few minutes walk. It is a very safe area so, also at night, you can go out and enjoy the nearby restaurants with no worries. Near the house you will find several bicycle rentals, the best solution to reach the beautiful beaches of Puerto Viejo and enjoy the nature of the area. The house has one private parking space with 24/7 active security cameras — it’s completely safe and accessible for all types of vehicles. If you need additional space, you can also park safely on the street. Other things to note Despite the lush vegetation, we are in an area where there is a severe water shortage. We ask our guests not to waste this precious resource. Being in a tropical location, despite our best efforts, some insects may still find a way in. We always put all our work and our passion to offer the best accommodation for our guests, we invite you to respect this space and help us to leave each space clean and tidy. We offer a place to rest and take advantage of the nature and calm of the Caribbean: to guarantee this to all our guests it is forbidden to listen to loud music at any time of day or night. We offer a laundry service for a cost of $ 10/bag (up to 4kg) per wash and dry. There are also several laundries near the house to choose from. Tap water is officially safe to drink. However, especially for guests who don’t live in or aren’t used to drinking water in this area of the country, we recommend choosing bottled water when possible.
