Jennifer and Bill are very friendly. The meal we had was delicious! We appreciate that the resort is off the grid but *BE WARNED* In my humble opinion, the cabana needs major renovations. The walls, roof and floors have gaps large enough for insects and small rodents to penetrate. There was a small table fan which is not enough to provide any kind of air circulation. We noticed spider webs behind the headboard. We booked a 5 night stay but sadly, because of the current condition of the cabana, were not able to spend even one night.

Bill and Jenny are delightful hosts. We had great conversations and some great one liner jokes. I must share one… a guest asked whether it was easier to drive in the wet season. Bill’s immediate reply: he’d never got his truck stuck in dust! : ) Bill’s professional culinary skills bring dramatic and stunning flavour to every dish. Highly recommended.

Bill and Jennifer are the sweetest people! Very friendly and kind with excellent stories to share. The food was excellent. They go above and beyond to make you feel happy and are just the best! The accommodations are very much for the outdoor enthusiast, wildlife abounds. It is remote and peaceful.

Jennifer and Bill are incredible hosts! So attentive, full of empathy, always available and smiling... real lovers! Bill is a great cook and we enjoyed our stay for the whole time (3 nights). The property is a little old and rustic but very clean and so quiet (we were lucky enough to be alone during these 3 days; the 4 bedrooms are very close to each other, we don't know how it goes when there is other hosts...). Attention: here is a mosquito paradise;-) And since there is only a mini pocket fan in the bedroom, it can be very hot at night (normal, that's Belize!). It's impossible to snorkel (brackish water) but the kayak can be used to cool off and go to discover birds, coatis and the famous ruin of Cerros. THANKS again Bill and Jennifer for such a great stay.

Our stay at Cerros Beach Resort was very special. Jennifer and Bill are the best hosts anyone can wish for, and they are right there on the property ready to help you with anything you need. Bill is a talented cook and we ate all our meals in the restaurant. They were delicious. We also had some fun conversations with Jennifer and Bill in the early evening and during dinner. The accommodations are just as described, and we slept well because it is so quiet and the bed was comfy. It was a place for us to slow down, read books, and swim in the Caribbean sea.

If you’re looking for a remote thatched cabaña on the beach, this is your place. Hosts were so friendly and fun to talk to. Food was fabulous. It was hard to get to, but once there we could have stayed for a month. Kayaking to the Mayan ruins right across the bay was a highlight. Gorgeous surroundings, perfect for adventurous adults.

We felt like we had stumbled upon the best know secret resort in North Belize. Idyllic location, authentic accommodation and fabulous hosts. Bill and Jenny are very experienced hosts, super friendly, knowledgeable and very accommodating to all our needs. The actual resort consists of 4 cabanas, restaurant bar and the hosts home. Located on the waterfront with a private dock to view the most spectacular sunsets and swim in the warm waters. We highly recommend staying here and would also recommend kayaking to a small Mayan ruin… kayaks kindly supplied by Bill and Jennifer. Thank you Bill and Jenny.

Bill and Jen are amazing hosts! The secluded cabanas were perfect for a relaxing getaway. They were helpful with everything, from getting me to the bus station in the morning to boosting my rental car when it died. Terrific people with a truly unique spot. Unbelievably there is a short jungle trail to the incredible Cerros Mayan Ruins right on the property. It was outstanding to be able to visit such a magical place so easily. The food was also very good at the on site restaurant! Super convenient! Highly recommended!
