The location is beautiful, right in front of a quiet beach that felt peaceful and uncrowded, with mostly locals around. It’s a really lovely spot if you’re looking to be away from the busier main beach and wake up somewhere scenic. During our stay, there was an unexpected issue with the water being unavailable for parts of the day. I understand this was outside of the host’s control, but it was not communicated to us before check-in, and when we reached out, the response was not especially helpful or proactive. We ended up speaking with neighbors to better understand what was happening. This is definitely a no-frills stay. If you’re looking for more comfort, amenities, or a more hands-on hosting experience, this may not be the best fit. But if your priority is a simple beachfront place in a beautiful, quiet location, it could work well! Just go in with modest expectations.

Great place to stay! Hosts were very responsive and we loved Doña. Everything was very clean, the sunsets are beautiful, and close to town (but not so close that there's traffic). Overall one of my favorite Airbnb experiences!

We had a wonderful time! The home was perfect for our time in Costa Rica. The views were gorgeous and the beach was pristine and right outside. We were very grateful to have air conditioning!

Photos did t do it justice, close to local restaurants, steps to the beach! Felt like we had hit the jackpot with this house! More space than we needed and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook!

Check-in was difficult to coordinate. We were early and we notified our arrival. We saw that the accommodation was ready, but not possible before 3pm… 😕 There is a washer/dryer on site and we asked if we could use it. We never got an answer... There were power outages and we ran out of water. We notified the host of the situation, who only responded when we went through Airbnb to ask for a refund. There was a group of 4-5 young people on motorcycles who came to smoke and drink beer 10 meters from the garden gate leading to the beach. It was intimidating. The best, in the arrival message, we learn that a lady (not disturbing at all), lives in a building inside the enclosure (the garage🤨). What we regret the most is the lack of communication with the hosts who never followed up on our questions. Unfortunately, I don't recommend it...

Nothing can beat this view. Amazing being able to sit outside and enjoy your coffee while hearing the crash of the waves. But also sitting just outside the house and watching the sunset every night. Fantastic experience - and a huge bonus is that I got engaged while staying here. That sunset is one I’ll never forget.
