Beautiful house with amazing beach front common condo area. Unfortunately, maintenance and care for detail in the house could be better and doesn’t match the price point (eg cheap cutlery, damaged walls and window shades, wardrobe doors and loose sinks as well as remaining construction debris on arrival). Low point was an electric shock suffered from a badly installed outdoor floor lamp. Whilst communication and action on raised issues was there, it took multiple follow ups to get the faulty lamp disconnected and the host didn’t see any need for even a partial refund despite the multiple issues experienced.

Everything was great! We had an amazing time Beautiful place and accommodation as shown in the ad. Too bad that the kayaks were not available at the time and the minimarket and bar of the clubhouse still needed to be stocked.

It was a great place for my family to relax for a couple days by the ocean. There was plenty of space for our family of five. Loved the layout of the house. The couch in the living was big enough for everyone to watch a movie on tv at night. We chose to not use the cooking or catering service and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own meals (definitely grocery shop in Cartagena since the markets in Baru are very limited…we rented a car and drove from Cartagena). The air conditioning worked really well which was a relief after being in the sun by the pool. The pool was beautiful and well maintained. Also, the dock/cabana was a perfect place to watch the ocean and enjoy a drink. My daughter loved the pool and jumping off the dock into the ocean! Only downside was no hot/warm water in the shower. Highly recommend staying at this house!!!

The condo was nice and as described in the listing. Communication was excellent. There were minor drawbacks that were disappointing, but we still had a great time. Things to consider before booking. Its a shared beach club with various condos and construction. The club part was clean, but not as meticulous as other resorts. A fishing boat and jet ski drove into the swimming area. This kept us from swimming and paddleboarding that day :( Its ~90 minutes from Cartegena and ~$1.2M COP round trip. The roads are bad, so take nausea meds just in advance. The beach is much smaller and the water wasn't as clear as expected. We didn't have hot water. The walk to the beach wasn't bad, but required "packing up" to enjoy it. We opted into the full service cooking option. Daniella was fantastic and accommodating to our needs. This was very nice, but the service ends at 5pm. We had to finish the preparation to eat later in the evening.

Great home in an upscale community with very attentive host and on-site caretaker, who is also an excellent cook! The home was as-described where the pool and private beach club are a short walk from the house. Overall a five-star experience and muchas gracias again for a wonderful visit to Baru!
