Casa con Patio 1 accommodates up to six guests with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a private pool. The master bathroom includes a private patio that brings a natural ambiance inside the home. The property is conveniently close to a mini market and several restaurants in Pelada, with shops in Guiones only a five-minute drive away.
The Space
Casas con Patio consists of two separate three-bedroom houses arranged around a central courtyard. Casa con Patio 1 features two private patios that allow natural light to fill the interior spaces.
The architectural design aims to create the sensation of the house floating above the gardens, ensuring every room receives natural daylight throughout the day. The kitchen offers ample storage and a U-shaped workspace, forming a functional social area with a double-height ceiling and cross ventilation that keeps the space fresh without air conditioning.
A travertine brise-soleil in the social area softens the morning light, enhancing the beautiful Nosara mornings. Outside, Casa con Patio 1 includes a private marble pool and a granite terrace furnished with puffs for relaxing outdoors.
Each bedroom is equipped with hotel-quality mattresses, open closets made from Guanacaste wood, desks for remote work, and air conditioning. The property also features a water purification system, providing fresh, drinkable tap water. For remote workers, fiber optic Wi-Fi is available to stay connected comfortably.

Cute modern home with very comfortable beds . Squeaky clean . Tropical shower an added bonus . Walking distance to beach , the famous Sunrise cafe & La Luna restaurant. Host & co host are very responsive and accommodative . We had a wonderful stay .

Mediocre, nothing special. What we liked: Beautiful landscaping, great outdoor shower, bedrooms had AC w/ comfy beds. Communication was fast/responsive but resolution took time. Things to note: Listing lacked many details that should be shared upfront…this created misaligned expectations. Toddler-proofing was mentioned before booking, but cost $200 and only disclosed after arrival. Cleaning/laundry included once a week. Dryer old and venting lint directly into room (fire hazard). Requested sheets took 2 days to get. Roads to property/beach are TERRIBLE; beach is a 20-min walk, not 5 mins. Pool chemicals unbalanced, left us itchy/burning. Kitchen is not stocked (no oil, condiments, or cleaning basics); had to buy all supplies. No dishwasher. Often limited parking (not 2 spots as promised). Loud 5 a.m. trash pickup/construction. Living area has no AC and gets hot in the day. Fine for short stays if you know what to expect, but not family-friendly for long stays. We left 5 days early d

Wonderful home and well located near several beaches. Kids loved the plunge pool. Master bathroom was great with an indoor/outdoor shower. Helpful laundry service and very responsive host when an unexpected issue came up with the microwave. They were up in minutes to fix it! Thank you!

Welcoming comfortable stay with quick walk to Playa Pelada in the Nosara area. Comfortable beds, equipped kitchen, spotless bathrooms, beautiful house. We loved it. Hosts were very helpful, friendly and responsive. We have rented for years in Costa Rica, we loved it! Thank you!!!

Maria's place was the perfect location for a long stay. Lots to do and see in Peleda/Guiones and surrounding areas. You'll definitely need a 4x4 if staying in Peleda. Maria was very responsive and helpful. We would definitely stay again!

Great space, relaxing, killer master bath, and well appointed. Host was super responsive and I felt had we needed something they would have done their best to accommodate. Restaurant around the corner is super good vibes.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Maria's home. The sun-filled space was the perfect size for our group. We made breakfast in the mornings and played board games in the evenings every day. We especially liked the architecture and decor. The swing was fun and the master bathroom was amazing!

Maria was an excellent host! She was quick to respond, always helpful and made us feel at home. The house was as described. Excellent AC in the bedrooms! Loved the dipping pool in backyard. Secure house with gated entry to walkway and lock on house. I would stay here again. Thank you!
