The Space

- Upstairs: A cozy queen-size bedroom for two guests, also featuring a private bathroom.
- Living Area: Bright and open with a sunken sofa design, equipped with a smart TV and high-speed Starlink satellite Wi-Fi.
- Kitchen: Fully stocked with all the essentials for your cooking needs.
Guest Access
- From Managua: The villa is approximately a two-hour drive from Managua city center or the airport to Playa Guasacate. Simply follow the signs or use GPS for easy navigation.
- Airport Transfer: If you require transportation, contact us to arrange a convenient airport transfer.
- Villa Access: Upon arrival in Playa Guasacate, continue along the main road until you see the MAHALO sign on the right. It is clearly visible.
- Beach Access: The beach is just a short 30-meter walk away, perfect for enjoying sunsets and ocean swims.
Additional Information
- Groceries: For supplies, stop at La Colonia supermarket on your way from Managua or Rivas. There is also a mini-market within a 10-minute walk in Playa Guasacate, though prices there tend to be higher.
- Drinking Water: Tap water is not recommended for drinking in Nicaragua. A 20-liter bottle of drinking water will be provided upon your arrival. When you need a refill, simply order from the restaurant; it will be added to your bill and replaced promptly.
- Air Conditioning: All rooms are equipped with air conditioning for your comfort.
- Electricity: A backup generator is available to ensure continuous power throughout your stay.
- Tranquility: The villa is situated in a peaceful neighborhood, ideal for relaxation and quiet moments.

We stayed here for a couple of nights during our Nicaragua holiday with our young children and it was absolutely perfect. Everything was just like the photos - beautiful decor, super clean and very peaceful. Having a little private pool was ideal to cool off and perfect for our little ones too. You’re just a few minutes walk from the most beautiful beach and lots of great places to eat nearby too. The breakfasts prepared onsite are delicious and really great coffee too! Can’t wait to come back!

Our stay at Mahalo was simply amazing. My boyfriend and I originally booked four nights, but we loved the place so much that we decided to extend our stay for a few more days. We really appreciated having a private kitchen, which made our stay much more comfortable and convenient. The beachfront location is beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere to relax and unwind. We would also like to highlight the exceptional service. Everyone on the staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect, and Mahalo exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend staying here and can’t wait to come back!

This place is a hidden gem. Best part of our family was staying here in Popoyo. The house is stunning and the location is incredible. This entire stay was an amazing experience. Highly recommend kooks cafe and local spots for food. The beach water is like silk on your skin, the sand feels smooth and the beach is not crowded at all. Many times we were the only ones on the beach during the day. We really can’t express enough gratitude for the beautiful house and the service provided from the manager of the area she was great. Can’t wait to be back!

We had a nice stay and would return. It’s a gorgeous place, just steps from the beach which was never busy! An easy walk to the restaurants and bars down the road, but we ate at La Perla a couple of times (across the street) and it was delicious. We also got breakfast delivered to the room and it was so relaxing and great. A bit far from the shop if you need drinks or snacks, but poyopo delivers dropped us off drinks for a great price. The rooms were comfortable, but we didn’t realise one of the rooms didn’t have a door to the bathroom, which could be problematic for some. We also had a few minor things happen while we were there, but handled with care. Would recommend!
