Montecristo is an exclusive gated community situated on the mountainside in Los Cabos, Mexico. It offers breathtaking ocean views overlooking the entire Quivira Los Cabos area, which features a prestigious Jack Nicklaus Signature golf course. The community is meticulously landscaped and maintained, providing access to a beautiful clubhouse. Located at the tip of the Baja Peninsula in Cabo San Lucas, this peaceful enclave offers privacy and a serene environment.

The Space

Montecristo Villas are designed to meet your needs, ensuring a memorable and comfortable stay in this unique and spectacular setting. Each villa serves as a home away from home, equipped with luxurious amenities such as:

• Walk-in closets

Please note:

• Our listings are not linked to a specific villa, but all villas share the same amenities and layouts.
• Every villa includes a private pool and Jacuzzi on the terrace.
• Views vary by villa; while we cannot guarantee the exact view shown in photos, it will be similar.
• We do not accept location requests. Villas are managed across both Phase I and Phase II of Montecristo.

Booking and Guest Policies

• Prices depend on the number of guests. Please book for the correct number of occupants.
• If additional guests arrive beyond the booking, extra guest fees will double if reported during or after check-in.
• You can add guests before arrival at the original extra guest fee by notifying us at least a few days in advance.
• Housekeeping is not included but can be added for $80 USD per day.
• Please review our house rules carefully, as the Montecristo Community enforces strict regulations.
• Basic kitchen items such as salt, pepper, condiments, oils, foil, plastic wrap, coffee, and sugar are not provided.

Environmental Sanitation Tax

The municipality of Los Cabos has implemented a new Environmental Sanitation Tax to support local community improvements. This tax applies to all reservations made from September 8, 2022, onward.

• Fee: 33.68 Mexican Pesos per room per night (approximately $1.70 USD, depending on exchange rate)
• Charged at check-out in addition to rent
• Funds contribute to environmental infrastructure, sustainability, safety, and security projects

COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Quivira Vacation Rentals has established comprehensive measures to ensure guest and staff safety, following global hotel consulting recommendations:

Cleanliness and Hygiene

• Hand sanitizing stations throughout public areas including front desk and restaurant entrances
• Use of certified sanitization products focusing on high-touch surfaces
• Periodic deep cleaning by certified third parties before reopening and regularly thereafter

Arrival Procedures

• External suitcase sanitization via steam cabin or sanitizing devices
• Guest sanitization cabin and temperature checks using infrared thermometers; guests with temperatures above 38°C (100.4°F) may be denied access after medical evaluation
• Mobile pre-check-in available

In-Room Amenities

• Hand sanitizer and sanitizing spray included
• Masks and gloves available upon request
• Removal of paper amenities, pens, and magazines unless requested

Social Distancing and Facility Use

• Elevator capacity limited to two persons unless family members
• Public furniture arranged to maintain at least 1.8 meters (6 feet) distance
• Pool loungers grouped in twos or fours, spaced 1.8 meters apart
• Fitness center and spa equipment sanitized after each use; reduced capacity enforced
• Restaurant and bar seating arranged for social distancing with maximum capacities and mask use by staff
• Contactless room service and digital menus available

Golf Club Measures

• Sanitization of golf carts and balls before and after use
• Reception and practice areas enforce capacity limits
• Tee times spaced 15 minutes apart
• One golf cart per person unless family members request otherwise
• Rules to minimize contact, such as leaving flagsticks in place and removing bunker rakes

COVID-19 Response

• On-site detection team including physician and management coordinates with health authorities
• Protocols established for managing potential COVID-19 cases
• 24/7 medical service available

Destination Protocols

• Enhanced procedures at SJD International Airport, including thermal screening and travel history checks
• Certification program by the Ministry of Health for restaurants, hotels, water sports, and tours
• Ongoing monitoring and updates to safety procedures

Guests receive the following discounts during their stay:

• 10% off food and beverages at Pueblo Bonito’s restaurants and bars

Note: Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions, certificates, or coupons.

Important Notes

• Outside services such as private chefs, catering, grocery shopping, and maid services are not permitted within the Quivira Los Cabos Community. Only services provided by Pueblo Bonito Resorts are allowed.
• Any additional guests added after the initial booking will incur an extra fee:
  • $50 USD per night per person if added before arrival
  • $100 USD per night per person if added during or after check-in
• All guests must be registered, and applicable fees paid.
• Villa assignments are confirmed only at check-in, based on arrivals and departures. Early confirmation or location requests cannot be accommodated.
• Early check-in cannot be guaranteed; villas are typically ready by 4:00 p.m. Guests may use clubhouse facilities and store luggage while waiting.
• This is a vacation rental experience, distinct from timeshare or hotel bookings through the resorts. Some resort amenities may not be included, consistent with industry standards for vacation rentals.
