The place is spectacular. Very good response from Maru and Tania. The room is beautiful and the facilities are a 100! A little problem with the internet in the room but outside it worked perfectly. I'll definitely be back.

Nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Check in was easy, getting through the front gate to hacienda iguana was such a breeze with these hosts. Everyone was welcoming and helpful. Place was clean and well taken care of. The outside areas are spacious with beautiful furnishings. The pool and outside area have a view of the 3rd hole. Our stay here was outstanding from start to finish. Thanks again for hosting us 🤗

This place is SO beautiful. The attention to detail, great sheets and towels, patio spaces, light and shadow play, gardens, and architectural design made the stay very special. The bathroom was gorgeous! The outdoor space has lots of room for lounging and outdoor dining and the kids loved the ping pong table. Our family was very disappointed that we could not use the pool for our stay, and we were not told it was out of order until after we had checked in. We would not have chosen to stay here with our young kids had we known and felt we should have been told this upon booking.

Beautiful spot, with AMAZING staff, and the place/room was immaculate. HOWEVER WARNING- the listing is lacking the information about the community it’s set inside, it’s rules and over stepping security. Getting inside “hacienda iguana” neighborhood was a NIGHTMARE even after providing our IDs, reservation etc. we sat at the gate for 45 minutes awaiting entry by one rude security guard. Rules to keep a nice/safe neighborhood are there for a reason and we are happy to follow. But NONE are made aware in listing for us to be prepared. We arrived on our motor bike without helmets which was no issue until check out when we were LEAVING gate and they REFUSED TO LET US EXIT. We were held and berated against our will even after kindly explaining the situation of just trying to leave our reservation. They offered no option to walk the bike, have someone bring us helmets, NOTHING. Just took our bike key against our will and told us we were not allowed to leave until I had to contact OUR LAWYER to let us leave. This is a pretentious neighborhood filled with entitled rude people. So if you’re one of those new money gringos with fancy stuff I’m sure you’d be in heaven. Adventuring respectful surfers BEWARE.

The place and the house are very relaxing, an excellent design, open and connected with nature. A very nice experience. The best way to spend time as a family and disconnect. Feeling close to nature. Walking on the paths among trees, enjoying walks on the beach at sunset. You can surf and ride horses among others. The restaurants we went to serve delicious food. Tania, super friendly. Arvin and the cleaning ladies, who we only saw for a moment, were all very friendly. We'll plan to return.

The property is very clean and well kept. The pool is excellent for families with small children. The house has several rooms. The person in charge was very kind.
