The place was beautiful and the location a little away from the city center, which allowed for quieter evenings. The host was very warm and quick to respond to our requests regarding the pool and BBQ. The only negative point is the neighborhood, with very noisy dogs that bark early in the morning.

Great hosts! We really appreciated how efficiently they handled the unexpected power outage caused by a bird getting caught in the electric fence—things like that happen, and they stayed on top of it right away. The house itself was exactly as described, with plenty of blankets and towels provided. They were also very helpful in arranging and guiding us through all of our excursions, which made the stay even smoother. The location is close to a local community, which is great for convenience and experiencing the area, but there isn’t much to see just outside the gate yet, and no real views at this time. It does seem like it will be beautiful once ongoing work is completed. Overall, a solid 4-star stay and very close to a 5. The only small things were wishing there was a bit more to see nearby and that the balconies had been cleaned prior to arrival.

Casa Esplanade was exactly as described. We had 3 couples and 3 young children including an infant. Plenty of room. Outdoor pool was used every day sometimes twice as well as daily beach trips. Mosquitoes a small issue outside but not inside. Security was excellent zero concerns on that. Hot water was a bit dicey and the kitchen was serviceable but small. Outdoor grill worked fine but showing its age. Price was high but what’s not these days. All in all our party was very satisfied and would rent again

We had an amazing stay here and couldn’t have asked for a better place to experience Costa Rica. The property was beautiful, clean, and well cared for, and it truly felt like a place to relax and unwind. The location was perfect, the atmosphere was peaceful, and everything we needed was easily accessible. The staff/hosts were welcoming, helpful, and genuinely made us feel at home. This stay exceeded our expectations and was a big part of what made our trip so special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Costa Rica.
