Studio in Ometepe

The property was amazing, felt like our little piece of paradise. The photos & description reflect the actual property. It was comfy and well laid out, really efficient use of space. A nice extra touch is the filtered bottle water in the fridge. Having access to the private beach area by the lake made for stunning sunset views as well as star gazing at night, especially on the terrace of the owner’s own property. The host Birte was fantastic. Her instructions to arrive at the property were clear so much so that we found it with ease when we first arrived at night. Birte provided great recommendations for food and things to do including a guide to hike Concepcion volcano, as well well as recommendations for our onwards journey after leaving Ometepe. However Birte really went over and beyond when helping us with the ferry crossing as we were unable to get tickets initially but Birte provided some solid advice, and helped navigate the ordeal. A real personal touch as a host.

We spent 4 nights here to explore Ometeppe and loved the Casita and location. It was very clean and nice,and the hosts were so friendly with lots of great local suggestions. The location is terrific, with sunset views and lots of wildlife in the surrounding trees. We loved going up to the rooftop in the morning to see the howler monkeys and birds! We would highly recommend for anyone coming to Ometeppe!

We stayed for 3 nights. The accommodation was nice. It is clean, has a good fan and a private kitchenette. Birte gave many tips and instructions, which made our stay easier🤩

We had a wonderful time in the casita of Federico and Birte. We received a lot of clear information in advance about the stay and about the area. Upon arrival we received a tour from Birte over the grounds with beautiful views over the lake. The casita was sparkling clean, fully met our expectations and was definitely worth the money. Occasionally the power may go out, but this has been warned in advance and the casita is equipped with battery-powered fans. Federico had given us a few recommendations for restaurants. These were great. To be able to see Ometepe completely, I recommend renting a scooter. Federico and Birte's contact person brings and retrieves the scooters. All in all a superb experience.

One of the nicest/coolest Airbnbs I have stayed at. The architecture is really amazing and it’s located on such a nice property. The sunset from the waterfront is next level. Federico and Birte are the friendliest hosts - they made sure I had everything I needed (and giving me recommendations), and are honestly such kind people. I had the pleasure of having great conversations with them over drinks while watching the sunset, as well as going kayaking and fishing. I highly recommend staying with them if you are on Ometepe!!

This stay was absolutely incredible! Our host’s went above and beyond from start to finish. They truly took the time to get to know us😊Their itinerary was the best we’ve ever received it laid out everything from how to get there, to local food spots, must-see places, and personal recommendations that made our trip unforgettable. The property itself was spotless, beautifully maintained, and the views were stunning. You can tell so much care and love goes into hosting here. We felt completely at home and cared for. It was the perfect place to relax on Ometepe. We felt very comfortable, thanks in particular to the helpful and friendly hosts. We also really enjoyed the wide range of leisure activities on offer. Also the surrounding countryside is incredible. All in all, we would definitely recommend it.

Awesome experience, everything was perfect. The apartment had a very nice private beach, I really regret not spending more time there. I loved all the helpful information that we were sent before arrival. Truly recommend this place for everyone!
