About the House
Los Laureles House is an adults-only retreat designed for relaxation. Guests can enjoy the pool, work quietly from the terrace, or unwind in the privacy of their room. The house is non-smoking.
There are two small, friendly dogs that stay outside near the parking area. If preferred, they can be kept next door during your stay.
Guest Access
Guests have access to several comfortable lounging areas, including the living room, dining room, and terrace. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. The social area features a TV with Chromecast functionality.
Hosts
During your stay, you may meet your hosts: a fashion designer and her partner, a consultant. They respect your privacy and can either remain unobtrusive or offer guidance around town, depending on your preference. Both are open-minded and relaxed.
The hosts enjoy cooking—one is a Cordon Bleu-trained chef, and the other specializes in authentic Mexican cuisine. They also appreciate good wine and engaging conversation.

My sister arrived early to San Jose and I was to be there a few hours later, but a plane diversion due to a lightning storm put my sister alone in San Jose without communication between us for a long time. But Alfonso and Anna really helped get her to the Airbnb. I had an overnight in another town, and arrived a day late. Instructions were well laid out for the house. The housemaid came every day, but did not speak English. The house was very private and safe. If we needed anything, Anna or Alfonso would message us back. Good price for the week’s stay.

I had an excellent experience staying at Casa Laureles for more than a month. Ana and Alfonso were incredibly kind, attentive, and respectful hosts at all times. From day one, they made me feel comfortable and welcome, always willing to help with anything I needed. The house is very nice, quiet and very well maintained, ideal for both short and long stays. After spending so much time there, I can really say that it was a place where I could feel peace, comfort, and trust. I am very grateful for all the hospitality, care, and personal attention I received during my stay. I would definitely recommend Casa Laureles to anyone looking for a cozy place and excellent hosts. This was our 2nd stay at Ana's beautiful home. So relaxing. Ana & Alfonzo are very easy going, generous & helpful people. It is an easy walk to a big mall with a supermarket through a lovely neighborhood. This is our San Jose home away from home! Pura vida

Except for the deceiving empty pool, we enjoyed the peaceful and clean place with the nice terrasse and open kitchen through the terrasse. It was a safe and close to everything around. It was quiet and private, the host was not in the house, just the maid in the day time. We are happy with our stay!
