Carlos’ place was fabulous! It had a great feel to it, spacious and clean. Carlos was very responsive and friendly, definitely went above and beyond any other host I’ve ever encountered. The home is very close to the city center, within walking distance of great restaurants. Because of its closeness to the city center it can be loud and was hard to get a good nights sleep. If you are looking for a good time this is the place for you.

This is the perfect stay for someone that wants privacy and lots to do within walking distance. The host Carlos could have done a better job, he was always a phone call away.

Carlos was an amazing host. Very responsive and willing to help in all he could. We rented the whole house for a large group. The house beautiful. Each room has its own bathroom and mini fridge. The rooftop OMG gorgeous. It is big with tons of different seating arrangements allowing multiple groups to hang out at the same time without feeling squished together. I will for sure book again and will recommend to others traveling to Tlaquepaque / Guadalajara.

We spent 2 nights in Tlaquepaque. This was a last minute booking and we were happy to find this place. The location is great for walking to all the fun shops and restaurants. Carlos was a great host. He was incredibly friendly and met us promptly at the house. He also had a garage across the street for our two cars and made himself available to be a garage attendant at 4am and then again at 6am on our departure day!! The house is very large, has at least 7 bedrooms and every bedroom has its own bathroom. There was 9 of us (5 adults, 4 kids). It’s well appointed and if you need anything Carlos is just across the street and will provide it. It felt very comfortable, secure and clean. The rooftop is so cool and has a lot of spaces to eat, drink and be merry. Note: If you are looking for good sleep, choose one of the rooms farthest away from the street. The house is on a busy street and the noise can be intense. Especially on the weekend.

My family and I stayed at Carlos’s home for four nights. He was extremely responsive to requests, allowed my dad to arrive early and had lunch with him and showed him around town. My sister and family were able to late check-out because they had a later flight. All rooms have their own bathroom. All updated! The home has 2 rooms with kitchen and king sized beds, and the other rooms had queen/doubles and plenty of seating to be cozy and have some privacy. The selling point was the rooftop lounge area, where we spent the evenings lounging on the sofas. The house was well furnished and clean. He recommended a driver for a day trip who took us to Tequila. His guidebook recommendations were great. The street is a bit loud, but expected. There is a store across the street if you need water or snacks. Carlos communicates via a different app, so you should have that downloaded on your phone-even though AirBNB recommends their own app for communication.

It was a very good experience to get away with the whole family and its very comfortable spaces, it met our expectations widely.
