Absolutely amazing location, Florisa was extremely helpful and friendly and helped me even with my first shopping before I got a bike. Cute little pool with a bunch of plantain and coconut trees and flowers that always attracted a bunch of birds you got watch in the morning. Very quiet and just 800m to the beach. A few restaurants and a little super market even closer. I had a wonderful month in uvita

The location of this house was very good with about a ten minute walk to the beach. The air conditioning and WiFi were good. There was no hot water but that was not even necessary as it was hot that week. The house had plenty of cooking utensils but if you are planning to cook you should make sure you purchase your own staple items like salt/pepper, sugar, oil, etc. We felt secure with the private gated entrance and the hosts live in the property making communication easier. Overall we were very happy with our stay.

this property is actually even more lovely than in the pictures all new amenities! (like a/c, juicer, coffee and rice maker) the pool is a dream! and carolina, the awesome staff person, is always onsite to help the uvita waterfalls are a must to visit. thank you doña florisa and don fernando!!!

Florisa’s apartment was absolutely charming. Perfect stay for a person traveling solo, like myself or a group or family of 5-6 can fit comfortably. The kitchen is well equipped with all the essential cooking utensils if you wish to cook indoors or BBQ outside on her grill. It has the perfect 6 seated dining in table as well a six person patio table on the porch. The beach is a lovely 5 min walk down the road or you can take a dip in the pool that has the best sunlight exposure to tan. An added plus is there’s a cute little restaurant that has all different types of delicious meals on the menu that is 2 min walking distance. By car, the central location of Uvita is 2 mins away where you can find more eateries. An added bonus there’s a local waterfall & butterfly garden. Most importantly, from my experience here is Florisa. She took great great care of me during my stay. She is a remarkable host and I recommend anyone who stays to feel comfortable asking her for any advice on the area!!

This place was very clean and had most things you needed to cook. The fridge/freezer did not work properly. The seal was broken so it didn’t stay very cold and would run non stop making the outside of the fridge hot to the touch. The bedrooms were a good size with curtains for privacy and kept light out in the morning. The living room was almost non existent and awkward to watch tv. The living room, kitchen, and bathroom (if you don’t close the door) has a fish bowl effect. Lots of windows which is lovely but has sheer curtains so everyone in the “yard/parking/pool” area could see inside. Not much privacy. The location in relation to town was good. Close to everything, walking distance to the beach. The pool was awesome. They had a handful of large dogs kept in cages behind the pool that would bark throughout the night. Shower looked nice but didn’t drain and had no hot water. Florisa was slow to respond and didn’t communicate that the water would be off for hours. Overall, ok.
