El espacio
Puertocito Point es una finca privada de 12 acres frente al mar, donde la selva tropical se encuentra con la costa del Pacífico sur de Costa Rica. Ubicada entre Dominical y Uvita, la propiedad ofrece privacidad excepcional, vistas panorámicas de 180° del Pacífico y una conexión inmersiva con la naturaleza.
La finca incluye una villa principal de dos habitaciones y una casa de huéspedes independiente de dos habitaciones, lo que brinda un equilibrio cómodo entre espacios compartidos para reunirse y alojamientos privados para familias, parejas y grupos de amigos.
La villa principal está diseñada para disfrutar de una vida tropical al aire libre, con acogedoras áreas de sala y comedor orientadas hacia la brisa marina y el paisaje circundante. Amplias terrazas rodean la residencia, mientras que terrazas adicionales se extienden hacia la costa, creando lugares espectaculares para relajarse sobre el Pacífico.
En el centro del área exterior se encuentra una piscina privada de borde infinito con vista al océano. Pase la tarde junto al agua, observe los botes desplazarse por el horizonte o disfrute de espectaculares atardeceres sobre el Pacífico.
La residencia principal cuenta con dos habitaciones. A la casa de huéspedes independiente se llega atravesando los jardines tropicales y ofrece dos habitaciones privadas adicionales:
- El nivel superior incluye una habitación con cama king, baño privado en suite, cocineta y área de estar.
- El nivel inferior ofrece una habitación con cama queen y baño privado en suite.
- Ambos niveles cuentan con áreas exteriores privadas con vista al océano.
La vida silvestre forma parte de la vida diaria en Puertocito Point. Los huéspedes pueden ver u oír monos, tucanes, lapas rojas, perezosos, coatíes y muchas otras especies tropicales en el bosque circundante.
Aunque la finca se siente aislada, su ubicación entre Dominical y Uvita permite acceder fácilmente a playas, surf, cataratas, avistamiento de ballenas, parques nacionales y las muchas actividades de Costa Ballena.
También se pueden organizar experiencias con chef privado, transporte, tours y planificación personalizada de vacaciones a través del equipo de concierge de Escape Villas.

La propiedad nunca se comparte con otro grupo durante su estadía.
La residencia principal y la casa de huéspedes independiente están separadas por jardines tropicales. Las escaleras, los senderos y las superficies exteriores irregulares forman parte del entorno natural de la propiedad en una ladera. Los huéspedes con limitaciones de movilidad deben considerar la distribución antes de reservar.
Se recomienda ampliamente alquilar un vehículo para explorar los alrededores de Dominical y Uvita.
Información importante sobre su estadía
Limpieza y lavandería
Para reservas de última hora realizadas dentro de los 60 días previos a la llegada, el servicio de limpieza está disponible por un costo adicional de $25 por día. Los huéspedes no tienen acceso directo a las instalaciones de lavandería de la villa; el personal de limpieza puede encargarse de la ropa personal.
Depósito de seguridad
Para reservas de última hora, es posible que se solicite un depósito de seguridad reembolsable en efectivo de $400–$500 al momento del check-in, según el tamaño del grupo. El depósito cubre posibles daños o artículos faltantes.
Transporte
Se recomienda ampliamente alquilar un vehículo. Puertocito Point está ubicado entre Dominical y Uvita, y la mayoría de los restaurantes, tiendas, playas y actividades se encuentran mejor accesibles en automóvil.
Entorno natural y accesibilidad
Puertocito Point es una finca de 12 acres frente al mar, rodeada de selva tropical. La propiedad incluye escaleras, senderos y superficies exteriores irregulares, por lo que puede no ser adecuada para huéspedes con movilidad limitada.
Vida al aire libre
La residencia principal adopta un estilo de vida tropical entre espacios interiores y exteriores, con brisas naturales del océano. Debido a que la finca está rodeada de selva tropical, los huéspedes deben esperar los sonidos y paisajes de la naturaleza, y podrían encontrar insectos y vida silvestre en las áreas exteriores y al aire libre.
Acceso a la playa
Se puede llegar a una playa aislada desde la propiedad por un sendero forestal irregular que toma aproximadamente 10 minutos. Las condiciones varían según la marea, se requiere calzado adecuado y los huéspedes deben tener precaución. La playa Puerto Nuevo también está aproximadamente a dos minutos en automóvil.
Chef privado
Las experiencias con chef privado se pueden organizar a través del equipo de concierge de Escape Villas. Los alimentos y las bebidas tienen un costo adicional.

There were a few small issues with water, but they were resolved. Host and staff were friendly. It’s open at concept with partial AC. Watch for the bugs. Amazing location and view!

Unmatched location and views, 180 degrees ocean view, whitewater, beach and mountain view. Lots of animals to see and hear, we saw about 15 different species of birds, different monkeys and coatis.

This house was absolutely beautiful. So charming but the best part was the decks and views. Breath taking. The views came with lots of natural life like monkeys and toucans. Also Efrain was so nice making sure we were comfortable. I’m very grateful of his kindness and service. This place is one of my most favorite ones.

The home is stunning and beautifully located right on the cliff overlooking the ocean, with the most breathtaking sunsets every evening. Waking up there each day was such a treat — peaceful, private, and surrounded by incredible views. One of our favorite parts of the entire stay was the monkeys visiting us every morning. It made the experience feel so special and unique, and it was something my family looked forward to every day. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here. It was private, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful. We made wonderful memories and would gladly stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing. There were scarlet macaws, monkeys & toucans every morning. We didnt see howler monkeys but we heard them. The only thing is its in puntarenas province, not puntarenas, its in Bahia, between domical and uvita. But i cant imagine a place where we would have seen as many animals on the property alone. We had a good time, we went to the waterfalls to zipline but my husband did break his foot at Poza on the first day. So be warned of the rope swing there and the depth. We would book this place again for sure. I couldnt fit what all we did in one but we also went to playa ventanas, hermosa beach has closest surfing rentals & we went to Jaco to surf. So much fun.

What a funky house with tons of soul. Great communication from the property manager prior to arrival. The location is perfect between Dominical and Uvita. We really loved the home’s character, pool (better than the photos!) and billionaire ocean views. Saw toucans and wildlife everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed, we enjoyed using the grill multiple nights. Between the main house and the casita, we were able to easily fit our party. We had a cleaner come every other day and she was lovely. Note: house is not accessible-friendly due to multiple steps and uneven surfaces, was challenging for an older family member.

Puertocito Point is exceptional! The house is fully functional, but it's old and a bit awkward. And yet this doesn't matter because of two epic features: privacy and view. The view is indescribable and the privacy is absolute; unfortunately we experienced invasion of privacy. I asked beforehand about maintenance during our stay, but that question was never answered. And 4 of our 5 days had unexpected visitors: a housecleaner, landscapers (who suddenly approached my wife at the pool to say hello), a pool guy (twice), and a crew began showing up 3 hours prior to checkout, just hanging out, making calls on speakerphone, sitting on their motos starring at us. A property like this requires a lot of maintenance, but that’s why I asked up front, so that I could plan around it instead of being caught off guard, spoiling our expectations. I believe we paid for the right to be the only ones occupying that real estate for 5 days, or at the very least, the right to be informed otherwise.
