Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, Puertocito Point offers a cozy and private retreat near Playa Dominical. This villa includes two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the main house, plus an additional two-bedroom guest house. It features a 180° wrap-around deck designed to capture stunning ocean views and breathtaking sunsets.
Situated on 12 oceanfront acres, the property provides a tranquil setting with sights and sounds of both the ocean and surrounding forest. The town is just 4 miles away, where you can explore excellent restaurants, spas, hiking trails, and various adventure tours.
The Space
This villa ensures privacy and quiet, with only the natural sounds of the ocean, wind, and birds. The open-style home invites refreshing ocean breezes throughout the day. Being beachfront, you have direct access to the Pacific Ocean with no neighboring properties obstructing your view.
High-speed fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available in both the main house and the guest casita.

Location
The villa is located 4 miles from town, where you can find a variety of dining options, spas, hiking, and adventure activities. One restaurant is within walking distance at a nearby hotel. Most other amenities require a 5-10 minute drive.
Transportation
- Rental cars are highly recommended for convenience.
- Rental cars can be delivered directly to the villa, with rates starting around $40 per day.
- Taxi service is available but typically costs about $40 for a round trip.

- The property follows World Health Organization and Costa Rican Ministry of Health guidelines for sanitation and social distancing.
- Hosts practice social distancing during check-in.

Unmatched location and views, 180 degrees ocean view, whitewater, beach and mountain view. Lots of animals to see and hear, we saw about 15 different species of birds, different monkeys and coatis.

This house was absolutely beautiful. So charming but the best part was the decks and views. Breath taking. The views came with lots of natural life like monkeys and toucans. Also Efrain was so nice making sure we were comfortable. I’m very grateful of his kindness and service. This place is one of my most favorite ones.

The home is stunning and beautifully located right on the cliff overlooking the ocean, with the most breathtaking sunsets every evening. Waking up there each day was such a treat — peaceful, private, and surrounded by incredible views. One of our favorite parts of the entire stay was the monkeys visiting us every morning. It made the experience feel so special and unique, and it was something my family looked forward to every day. My family and I truly enjoyed our time here. It was private, relaxing, and absolutely beautiful. We made wonderful memories and would gladly stay here again.

This place was absolutely amazing. There were scarlet macaws, monkeys & toucans every morning. We didnt see howler monkeys but we heard them. The only thing is its in puntarenas province, not puntarenas, its in Bahia, between domical and uvita. But i cant imagine a place where we would have seen as many animals on the property alone. We had a good time, we went to the waterfalls to zipline but my husband did break his foot at Poza on the first day. So be warned of the rope swing there and the depth. We would book this place again for sure. I couldnt fit what all we did in one but we also went to playa ventanas, hermosa beach has closest surfing rentals & we went to Jaco to surf. So much fun.

What a funky house with tons of soul. Great communication from the property manager prior to arrival. The location is perfect between Dominical and Uvita. We really loved the home’s character, pool (better than the photos!) and billionaire ocean views. Saw toucans and wildlife everyday. The kitchen had everything we needed, we enjoyed using the grill multiple nights. Between the main house and the casita, we were able to easily fit our party. We had a cleaner come every other day and she was lovely. Note: house is not accessible-friendly due to multiple steps and uneven surfaces, was challenging for an older family member.

Puertocito Point is exceptional! The house is fully functional, but it's old and a bit awkward. And yet this doesn't matter because of two epic features: privacy and view. The view is indescribable and the privacy is absolute; unfortunately we experienced invasion of privacy. I asked beforehand about maintenance during our stay, but that question was never answered. And 4 of our 5 days had unexpected visitors: a housecleaner, landscapers (who suddenly approached my wife at the pool to say hello), a pool guy (twice), and a crew began showing up 3 hours prior to checkout, just hanging out, making calls on speakerphone, sitting on their motos starring at us. A property like this requires a lot of maintenance, but that’s why I asked up front, so that I could plan around it instead of being caught off guard, spoiling our expectations. I believe we paid for the right to be the only ones occupying that real estate for 5 days, or at the very least, the right to be informed otherwise.

La casa es hermosa, espaciosa, y con una vista espectacular, no se puede pedir una mejor vista. Les recomiendo este lugar. Pasamos muy lindo con nuestra familia, la distribución del lugar es muy cómodo cuando se van con una familia más grande, ya que la casa de huéspedes está cerca más es privada. Queda a 13 minutos de Dominical en automóvil, donde hay restaurantes y supermercados. Para esta zona del país recomiendo un automóvil para poder disfrutar mejor. Fuimos a la playita escondida, es una aventura ya que el sendero es muy virgen y empinado, pero la playa está linda y privada. La casa tiene una arquitectura más retro pero es acogedora, y tiene todo para relajarse. Me encantó que hubiese toallas suficientes para la estadía. Cocinamos mucho, la casa se presta para eso, la cocina está muy bien equipada. Esperamos volver pronto. Es muy lindo, gracias por permitirnos disfrutar de su casa.
