The Space

This rental includes:

• Three air-conditioned bedrooms, each with an en-suite bathroom
• Access to all common areas, including decks, the main lounge, kitchen, pool, pool area, and parking
• The other three bedrooms in the villa will remain closed during your stay, ensuring your group has exclusive use of the rented space

Guests will not share any part of the property with other renters.

Location

Casa Castillo is just minutes away from Manuel Antonio National Park and the nearby beaches. It is conveniently accessible from both San Jose and Quepos airports.

The center of Manuel Antonio, featuring excellent restaurants, shops, art galleries, a pharmacy, and a bank, is within a 10-minute walk from the villa. The famous Manuel Antonio Beach is a 10-minute drive away and can also be reached by public transportation.

Numerous tours and activities are available in the surrounding area.

Wildlife and Natural Beauty

This private home is frequently visited by local wildlife, making it a paradise for nature lovers and photographers. Expect to see:

• Capuchin, howler, and squirrel monkeys
• Sloths
• Macaws, toucans, and hummingbirds
• Colorful butterflies

From August through December, Manuel Antonio lies on the migration path of humpback whales. Occasionally, whales can be spotted from the villa’s upper terrace.

Updates and Design

In fall 2021, Casa Castillo was modernized to enhance guest privacy and comfort while preserving the home’s original architectural charm. The villa features artwork and craftsmanship by local artists, showcasing Costa Rica’s natural beauty and cultural talent, allowing guests to experience the authentic “Pura Vida” lifestyle.

Amenities and Access

Guests have full access to the entire property, including the private pool.

The house is reached via a private, steep 40-yard road, requiring a 4x4 vehicle. Alternatively, there is a railed stairwell with 105 steps.

The parking area, equipped with sensor lighting, can accommodate up to three vehicles.

Concierge Services

Our concierge, Alexander, is available to make your stay stress-free by assisting with:

• Airport transportation
• Pre-stocking your pantry before arrival
• Chef services
• Tour bookings
• Medical needs, including COVID-19 testing prior to departure if required

Guest Access

Guests have exclusive access to the three bedrooms and all common areas of the property.
