This Aldaba location, Casa Mayor, is a very spacious villa for big groups traveling together. The staff, particularly Jose and King, were excellent. They look out for their guests! The villa is right across the street from the beautiful park, a 5-minute walk to the clock and walled city, close to the boat pier, 1.5 miles from the hotel row. I found this a great city to walk and jog. The rooms were nice and I had no complaints from my friends about the rooms, except there is no hot water. My guests did not find that to be a problem, as the water was never very cold in such hot temperatures. The pool is very small but it was a great meeting place for us to cool off and party. Bring mosquito repellant!!! The price was extremely reasonable for such beautiful space!

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay. For a large group who are interested in a good location at a fair price, this spot is ideal. The hosts were very accommodating, took great care of us, and made sure we had a great time. There are some quirks to the property given it’s a historic building in the old quarter of town, however for us it was the perfect location. Most of the cities sites are within walking distance, the 24 hour concierge helped us feel secure, and having private bathrooms for each guest was a huge plus. Can’t say enough about the extras the hosts provide. We did the bbq which was amazing, as well as the beach club day which was seamless and a great time. Would definitely stay again for a boys trip.

I stayed at Bolola/Casa Mayor, this spectacular home in the heart of Getsemani, for my wedding trip. I can say without any reservation that it is one of the loveliest, warmest AirBnB stays I've ever had the privilege of enjoying. The house is cared for by a rotating team that elevates it from a beautiful house to a nurturing home - Jose was always onsite to help us with our luggage and in the evenings, Mr. Rafa would give us great recommendations for places to eat or enjoy a drink. The many rooms were all spotless, fantastically cooled by individual A/C units, and cared for with a great deal of attention to detail. The house's common areas are now part of some of my most beautiful memories from my wedding week - the pool especially is perfect for the Cartagena heat! I especially want to shout out Hector, our coordinator. He was exceptionally attentive, making sure we all felt comfortable and accommodated; we have him to thank for how wonderful our stay in Cartagena was. We'll be back!
