Chalet Mi Refugio

A very beautiful place to share as a family. Spacious, cozy and with very nice common areas! Very good service and communication from the host. Highly recommended

Great experience, it's better than the photos, very attentive from the very first contact, everything was very clean, the villa has all the amenities, very well located, with super cool sunsets, but the best thing was the service. We celebrated as a family with a barbecue that they helped us prepare, and it was spectacular. Of all the places I've visited in Quindío, this is my new favorite. My rating 10/10.

We had a really nice stay. The place is nicer than the photos, comfortable, clean and spacious. The ladies Nancy and Dora who were with us supporting us with the cleaning and kitchen issues were excellent, kind, respectful, impeccable and super helpful. We loved it and will surely be back soon!

The truth is that the Mi Refugio property is a wonderful and warm place, embedded in the entire coffee zone. Everything is very clean, nice and organized, the best spaces for family and friends to enjoy. The photos don't do it justice! And that comment about access to the property is only due to the bad faith of the guest who wrote it, since the road is very well compacted and very easy to travel. But the main thing that is imperative to highlight is the kindness and understanding of the host Lucero; and the warmth and affection with which we were received and treated throughout our beautiful stay, Nancy and Dora, they are the stars of the Mi Refugio estate; they helped us with Christmas dinner; and with everything we needed, very much outside their duties on the estate! We are more than grateful, and with a heart full of joy, for having spent a Christmas with family, in such a beautiful place, and next to Nancy and Dora, two beautiful people. Thank you very much for everything!

The place is just like the photos on Airbnb. The place was very clean when we arrived. The pool and the backyard are amazing, with beautiful landscaping. The two women that take care of the place are great! They are always very helpful and always take care of your needs! Thank you! Gracias Nancy y Carmen!! Hope to come back!! The only drawback is that the road to get to the house is not a paved road so keep that in mind. But once you get to the villa it’s worth it.

The chalet is very striking in the images, but when you arrive it is much more beautiful in reality, the tranquility that is breathed, the peace, and best of all the neatness, the organization and cleanliness are excellent. The greatest treasure are Nancy and Carmen for their charismatic attitude, and the availability to collaborate and serve at all times, we have traveled to many parts of the world, but we have never met such beautiful and kind people, thank you for making us feel at home. Words can not describe the experience we had here. I was skeptical on the previous reviews about how wonderful the 2 ladies were. We arrived to the most caring and heartwarming women we have ever met. My 5 year old fell in love within the first couple hours. The place itself is a small piece of paradise and we absolutely loved our time there. We were sad to leave. I am certain we will be back again in the future. Coming from North America I made the mistake of not using mosquito repellent and paid for it. Once we got that under control life was fantastic. To keep this short and sweet, you will not find another place on air b and b that is set up like this. We were blessed to have been able to enjoy the cooking, cleaning and friendship of these kind people taking care of everything imaginable. I wish we had the option of rating this a 6 star stay! Nancy and Carmen, you will be missed!

Lucero is a fantastic host, very responsive and available. The villa is located on a side street and the neighbourhood is quiet. The villa is spacious, with all the bedrooms having on-suite access to bathrooms. The place was well kept, clean and well furnished. The backyard gazebo is great for brunches and dinners pool-side. The garden is well kept with Avocado and citrus trees! The staff on-site are friendly, and made us delicious meals the entire stay. They made us feel relaxed and comfortable. Highly recommend.
