Los Suenos Puerto Viejo is located in Playa Negra (Black Beach) between Hone Creek and Puerto Viejo Central. WE ARE LOCATED: 3 minute drive to the beach (Playa Negra) 10 minute bike ride 5 minute drive to Puerto Viejo Central (Shops, restaurants and more. Each Cabina has: Bedroom Bathroom Bar counter Living Room Space Separate entrance Between the two casitas is a fully stocked, well equipped kitchen with lots of space and twenty foot ceilings. The kitchen has everything you need to make large meals. Attractions in the area: waterfalls, canopy tour, chocolate tours, banana plantation, shopping, night life, restaurants etc. Guest access Two casitas with double door entry and separate entrances to a very large kitchen and dining area.

The best thing about this place is the layout/floorplan and the quiet location. However, unfortunately, this was the most unpleasant Airbnb stay that I’ve had to date. We stayed for one month. We experienced countless problems including mold and rain leaking through the roof. However, that’s not what made the stay the most unpleasant, each time we contacted the host with an issue, their response was dismissive, nonchalant, and curt. The first issue we reported was the leaking ceiling. The issue wasn’t looked into until 10 days later and that was after we had to escalate to Airbnb support for the mold issue and lack of urgency from the hosts regarding that. The listing for the property also stated that there was a washer and dryer available on the property for guests to use and when we inquired about using it, they were extremely rude and told us that the listing was outdated and there was no laundry facility available for use by guests.

I liked the location although it was not easy to find, it is close to the beaches and restaurants. The house is very well equipped and comfortable. Perfect for a family

The stay was very pleasant. The location is convenient to get around by car between the area's beaches such as Cahuita, Playa Negra or going to Puerto Viejo. The place is quiet, spacious, and very well-equipped. Overall communication was efficient and prompt. We had an inconvenience with one of the health services, but the host was very attentive and quickly resolved it. The only recommendation would be to improve the description of the address because we struggled to find the house and the map link was not working. Otherwise, we definitely recommend staying in this place.

A wonderful experience, the house is beautiful and it is far enough to be quiet and close enough to enjoy every place in the area by bike, the house is comfortable and has everything you need, Antonia was in contact with us all the time, very attentive... we were with the family and it was ideal! We will be back!

The house is a cute and quiet place just off of Playa Negra, close enough to Puerto Viejo to access all the town has to offer, but also a peaceful retreat from the noise. Antonia and Antonio are lovely hosts- I was traveling alone, and I really felt like they genuinely cared for my experience. They checked-in to see if I needed anything, offered recommendations and even brought water for me to enjoy! They also gave me a great price on a bike rental to use during the month I was there. They are good hearted people who make you feel welcome in their space, and Puerto Viejo is a wonderful town. Thanks for a great stay!

Antonia's place is well appointed with all the things you need for a great stay. Too, it's just a few minutes away from the center of Puerto Viejo so there's easy access to the town and beaches. In the evenings it's a perfect place to retreat to. I slept more deeply than I have in ages. In the mornings, stepping outside, you are surrounded by beautiful jungle, which brings great peace. As a host, Antonia is peerless: we were met with a bottle of wine when we arrived as well as beautiful flowers. Her hospitality and warmth was palpable from the first day and her communication was steady, consistent kind. She made us feel truly welcome in each communication. I have never had an Airbnb host so kind and warm and giving. We can't wait to return!

Antonia has a truly kind and warm heart. she went so far out of her way to help me when I was sick and by myself. she checked on me and brought me food and finally drove me to the emergency room and was willing to spend her day off to help me. it was not Covid but turned out to be an infection but I feel like the airbnb is beautiful, she is a beautiful soul and although I was having a rough time she was a bright light for me. Thank you Antonia!
