This apartment is located near the ocean, in the jungle, birds will wake you up, sometimes monkeys too, if you are lucky you might see a sloth in the garden, colorfull birds, and beautiful tropical flowers. The center 5 min. walk on the beach, It is a great place to take a break from routine to come back fresh. The Caribbean ocean is waiting for you! The space Great room with a wide corridor/balcony, hammock and a great view of the forest. Private bathroom with hot water, a double bed, private kitchen area (refrigerator, microwave, rice cooker, electric frying pan, toaster, coffee maker and kitchen utensils), fan, free parking, fiber optic internet. Majestic view of the forest. Excellent for bird watching. Two minutes walk to the beach, five minutes walk to town. The location is great! Have you ever been to a place where you relax with the birdsong, feel part of that tropical nature.... So this is the right place to come. This apartment with wooden floors will make you feel the Caribbean vibes, a simple but pleasant life. You might see a sloth, monkeys, all kinds of birds and small mammals that inhabit and coexist in the area from this balcony, or you can see all kinds of beautiful tropical plants and trees that surround us making you feel part of the forest. Puerto Viejo de Talamanca, clear water, coconut palms, great surf and a relaxed Caribbean atmosphere make Puerto Viejo a favorite among travelers. Once a small fishing village, Puerto Viejo has grown rapidly in recent years. Surfers from around the world, drawn by the famous Salsa Brava waves, have made Puerto Viejo a hot spot on the surf circuit. The town center now has many souvenir and surf shops, bars, restaurants, hotels and tour companies.

Die Unterkunft von Alexander ist für einen Aufenthalt in Puerto Viejo sehr zu empfehlen. Die Stadt ist fussläufig zu erreichen - mit vielen tollen Restaurants. Entlang der Hauptstraße erreicht man innerhalb von 10-30 min Fahrtzeit alle Sehenswürdigkeiten Puerto Viejos :) Vielen Dank für die leckeren Kokosnüsse 🥥🌴

Wir waren für 2 Nächte dort. Und es war paradiesisch. Wir sind persönlich empfangen worden, haben von Alexander noch ein Willkommenes-Bier bekommen und uns sehr nett unterhalten. Er hat die Wohnung direkt unter dem Apartment, dennoch hatte man immer absolute Privatsphäre. Das Appartement war super schön, rustikal, paradiesisch im grünen und ruhig. Und dennoch ist Puerto Viejo direkt zu Fuß zu erreichen (5 min) und der wunderschöne Playa Negra ist noch näher. Bei uns hat es zwar viel geregnet, aber wir haben uns das Karibik-Feeling nicht nehmen lassen. Und auch bei Starkregen, ist die Unterkunft ein Traum. Draußen auf der Terrasse sitzen oder dort in der Hängematte liegen und einfach genießen! PURA VIDA! Man hört die Tierwelt, und die Brandung und tagsüber Autos von der Straße. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt und empfehlen diese Unterkunft ganz klar weiter. Facts: - Warme Dusche - Mückengitter - Vorhänge (nicht wirklich dunkel) - wlan war super - Herausragende Gastgeber!

I recommend staying here if you like nature and calm (waking up to ocean sounds!) but still want to be close to the vibrant center of town. From the spacious terrace I saw all kinds of animals - even monkeys - when chilling in the hammock. Everything is super clean and you can tell Alexander has put thought and love in this place on all the small details, the little art, the soaps and tea bags provided. He is also a very serene and kind person and a pleasure to communicate with. Nice bonus: the house is shielded from the street with a beautiful blue wooden gate so you can easily park your bikes inside so they are safe! The place also had some very strong ventilators so you can enjoy a cooling breeze inside and outside, no airco was needed at all even it can get hot in the day it always cooled and ventilated easily in the night. Already miss this peaceful place. Pura vida 🌸

Viajamos desde el pacífico para vivir una experiencia Caribeña. El alojamiento fue el primer paso a eso. Una cabaña fresca, rústica, rodeada de naturaleza y totalmente equipada para aún tan lejos sentirnos como en casa. Su ubicación es increíble! Gracias a eso pudimos conocer la mayoría de los increíbles rincones del Caribe e incluso ir a pie a algunos de ellos. No dejamos de lado la increíble atención de Alexander. Quien nos atendió desde el día uno cubriendo sin peros todas nuestras necesidades. Ojalá todos puedan vivir por primera vez su experiencia Caribeña empezando por este lugar. Gracias Alex por las Pipas deliciosas y por regalarme un pedacito de tu lugar tan especial! Sin duda vamos a volver :)

We've been traveling through Panama and Costa Rica for over two months now. This was by far the best accommodation. Close to the beach, close to the supermarket, and a huge terrace for a lovely morning. Alex was very friendly and helpful. He also gave us coconuts and drinks. We really had a wonderful time and would come back anytime.
