Designed to harmonize with its lush surroundings, Casa del Pez features wide pocket doors that open the home to the sights and sounds of nature. The outdoor patio serves as the centerpiece of the house, equipped with a spacious lounge area and a dining table for six, ideal for enjoying meals outdoors.
Inside, the main level includes:
- A fully equipped kitchen
- A cozy living area
- A convenient half bathroom
Upstairs, there are three well-appointed bedrooms, each with built-in closets and individual air conditioning:
- The primary suite has a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom, and a dedicated workspace perfect for remote work.
- The second bedroom also features a queen bed and a built-in workspace, sharing a large hallway bathroom with the third bedroom.
- The third bedroom contains a queen bed with a double loft bed above, making it suitable for families or groups.
Additional conveniences include a washer and dryer located on the second floor.

The house has natural light and quiet AC units in every room! The pool is ideal for a quick cool-off dip. The alarm and front gate provide peace of mind. (Note: the front gate is heavy to push/pull open and closed for some.) We’ve rented several properties over the years in Nosara, and this was the best appointed we’ve experienced. From spices and cooking oil in the kitchen, to plenty of fluffy towels and a first aid kit in the bathroom, Casa del Pez had everything we could possibly need during a stay. It’s the little attention to details that distinguishes this property from many — laundry baskets, laundry soap, dish soap, extra garbage bags, etc. While these incidentals may seem insignificant, they make the day-to-day easy and reflect the thoughtfulness of the hosts.

We had a great stay at Casa del Pez. Perfect size for us (2 adults, 3 kids). Location is close enough to restaurants, shops, and beach but with plenty of privacy and quiet. Would definitely stay again.

We had a good week in the house and we enjoyed the trip to the beach in the afternoon to see the sunset. The area was very dusty when we were there (at the beginning of January) and it was a bit annoying, but okay. The house worked fine, but the outdoor area could have been kept a little better and there wasn't much room for the children to be in. The house itself was fine but it needed a major cleaning. Besides a few problems with check-in, communication with the rental company was good.

Our family of seven (including five kiddos) had everything we needed at Casa del Pez. The view was incomparable and we loved spending every evening and morning with the trees, birds, and howler monkeys nearby!! The pool was great for us in between all the area fun, which was either walkable, or a short drive away. We’d come back for sure!

We had a phenomenal time at Casa del pez with our family of 4 + grandmother. The house is beautiful - with 3 great bedrooms, ac all around, large / well equipped kitchen and an amazing outdoor patio. The pool is small but perfect for relaxing after a day by the beach / after surf. 10’ walk from beautiful playa pelada beach and 5-10’ drive to Guiones. Bonus came with the monkey visiting the property tree a few times during our stay. There was some construction next door (Nosara seems to be in a permanent state of construction so seems to be par for the course) but did not bother us at all. We absolutely loved this place and would recommend it 100%. We had perfect vacations. Thank you!

Ryan was a wonderful host! He made sure we had everything we needed and was very responsive. Loved the open layout of the first floor as well as all the modern amenities of the home, including AC. Really felt like we were part of the jungle. Would recommend to anyone and definitely would stay again!

Absolutely beautiful home! The home looks exactly as it does in pictures, if not better! The home is perched up on the hill, which allows for incredible views of the surrounding jungle and ocean in the distance, but at the same time, it's super walkable to the beach. We were pre-warned about the neighboring construction, but it really wasn't that bad. We're early risers already, so the early start to construction didn't bother us. We fell in love with Nosara and are already planning our next trip back!
