Un lugar maravilloso ubicado en el corazón de la paradisíaca isla de Ometepe. En el Hotel Playa Santa Martha puedes disfrutar de deliciosos platillos, belleza escénica, cultura, comodidad, así como de la hospitalidad de nuestra gente. Nuestro hotel, ubicado directamente frente al Lago de Nicaragua, cuenta con un total de siete cabañas independientes y un restaurante familiar con vista al lago y al volcán Maderas. Desde la playa se tiene una vista directa y espectacular del volcán Concepción.
Las cabañas
Nuestras cabañas son sencillas y están equipadas con lo esencial. Frente a cada cabaña hay áreas para sentarse o hamacas donde puedes relajarte con una Toña (cerveza típica nicaragüense) o una limonada casera, por ejemplo. Una de las cabañas incluso ofrece vistas directas al lago, tanto desde la terraza como desde la cama. Las demás cabañas tienen vista al volcán Concepción. Todas las cabañas están a pocos metros del lago, donde se puede escuchar el sonido de las olas y los pájaros. Por las mañanas, ni siquiera necesitarás despertador, ya que probablemente nuestro gallo te despertará.
Servicios y gastronomía
Cada mañana servimos un desayuno incluido en el restaurante. Puedes elegir entre un desayuno típico nicaragüense o una opción de desayuno americano. Por supuesto, también ofrecemos diversos platillos (a la carta) durante el día. Por la noche, el bar permanece abierto hasta las 9 o 10 pm (según la frecuencia), para que disfrutes tus vacaciones con el sonido de las olas y música latinoamericana.
Experiencia auténtica
Si buscas vivir una experiencia auténtica de Nicaragua, este es el lugar ideal para ti. Un paraíso rodeado de naturaleza y con un ambiente muy genuino. Aquí puedes ver a los nicas bañándose, a los pescadores, a los caballos y a las vacas bebiendo en el lago. Sin embargo, la conexión a internet es muy buena.
Servicios especiales
Nuestro servicio especial para nuestros queridos huéspedes: una noche significa una estadía de 24 horas con nosotros. Esto quiere decir que si te registras a las 3 pm, por ejemplo, puedes salir del hotel hasta las 3 pm del día de tu partida. Ofrecemos este servicio en cualquier momento, siempre que no estemos completos.
Como servicio adicional, con gusto podemos organizar transporte desde la terminal de ferry de San José por 150 córdobas (4 dólares). Por favor contáctanos antes de tu llegada. También te ayudamos con servicios de alquiler de motocicletas, taxis, guías, excursiones, etc. Por cierto, la parada de autobús en San José está a solo 300 metros. Así que si llegas en ferry a Moyogalpa y prefieres usar transporte público, puedes tomar fácilmente el autobús desde allí hasta nosotros.

Compromiso ambiental
Valoramos mucho el cuidado del medio ambiente. Somos una empresa ecoeficiente; por ejemplo, aproximadamente el 75% de nuestra energía es renovable y nuestra iluminación es 100% solar. No utilizamos cubiertos de plástico.

Great spot if you have reasonable expectations. The room was cute, clean and as expected from the pictures. Our room was right on the beach looking at the lake. Stunning location and view. Fair warning: if you don’t like bugs and a few ants here and there this might not be for you but for a small cabin on a lake shore we were expecting this and not disappointed by it. Still gave 5/5 stars. The staff were very friendly and the included breakfast was delicious.

We absolutely loved this place - extremely peaceful, and it was just beautiful to sit on the veranda and watch the lake, birds, and occasional horses & cattle wonder along the shore. The owner, his wife and his son were all really friendly & helpful as well. Very highly recommended.

Don't come here if you don't want to be fooled! The rooms are rustic, expect bugs in the rooms and in the bed. Still, it's okay and nice views, just be prepared for it. Unfortunately, what really brings down the whole experience is their sense of service.. Breakfast is not included at all and you will be charged before you leave. They also do not provide any information about it when they tell you the day's choice of breakfast and ask what you want to drink... it will be an unexpected surprise and an unpleasant one. There are many other places on the island that do not give a bitter aftertaste.

honestly this stay has been one of my best so far. the staff is very friendly and kind and very helpful . Not to mention there are family. They have an onsite resteraunt that serves amazing food and many different options as well. They helped us with arranging rides all over ometepe and even got us a ride from ometepe to San Juan del Sur. it's right on the lake and has an amazing view of the volcanoes. The people in the area are super friendly and kind and very welcoming . If you want peace , serenity and a family atmosphere with amazing local people. This is the place for you!! It's right in the center , everything is very accessible from this location.

Great spot, couldn’t get closer to the waters edge. The little casita was all we needed and sleeping to the sound of the water was lovely. Very friendly and helpful crew. Would have happily stayed on longer.

Right on the lake you could hear the waves rushing. We received tips and our requests were responded to quickly. We would book the place again.
