Monteverde

This home is beautiful. Very walkable too close by restaurants and yet surrounded by so much nature. Monte Verde is beautiful I wish we had stayed longer. Our kids and our friends kids truly had really great time. we will definitely be back and consider staying in this house with the kids

Our stay in Monteverde was amazing, and this Airbnb was perfect for our group. The host was very responsive, always available to answer questions, and quick to help with anything we needed. The setup of three separate houses on one property worked so well for us—it gave everyone their own space while still being together. The location was incredible. We could walk everywhere! One of our favorite days was walking to get lattes, hiking to the Monteverde Waterfall (a must-do!), and then walking back for wood-fired pizza—all without needing a car. That night we also walked to Tico’s, one of the best restaurants we’ve been to. The views from the master bedroom overlooking Rainbow Valley are beautiful and so peaceful. We truly felt at home here and would absolutely stay again.

We loved our stay in monteverde. The home was amazing and it was great for our group of 6 to have the space to spread out after a long day of travel. The proximity to hotel belmar was awesome and we highly recommend the savia morning tour. Mario was incredible generous and communicative prior to and during our stay. All in all it was an incredible stay for our family!!!

We had an amazing stay! We were two families (4 adults and 6 kids) and the setup was absolutely perfect. Having 3 separate villa's gave everyone full privacy and comfort, while the common areas were great for gathering together. ​The property is beautiful, clean, and well-equipped. Leon is a fantastic host, extremely helpful, responsive, and went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Highly recommended!

The Nauen trio of cabins was perfect for our family group of 10. We all had our own individual spaces and had access to the nearby Hotel Belmar for yoga and restaurants (excellent). The view from the porches was excellent and Mario was helpful and welcoming. We felt safe and were able to watch the animals from the nice porches. Mario also helped us with recommendations for activities and food. He even took a couple of us to his amazing coffee farm to learn and try - it was excellent and interesting. Would definitely recommend for a family/group!

We rented all three of the airbnb's on site for our family vacation and it was wonderful. We had a daily display of the local wildlife in a relaxing and beautiful setting. From the bedrooms you have a full view of the surrounding area and can relax on any of the patios. We hosted dinner at the large covered table that was at our home away from home and it was perfect. The location isn't directly in town but not too far and the sites along the way are beautiful. We went to the brewery across the street after we arrived and relaxed with some good food and beer while the kids played on the lawn. We loved this airbnb and I'd return in a heartbeat.

I have travel a lot to Costa Rica and stayed and a lot of Airbnb’s. This is by far one of my favorite!!

Mario was an incredible host, very warm, welcoming and helpful. He made us feel right at home! The cabins are beautiful and the location is amazing, a few minutes from the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve. The cabins are equipped with heaters and shoe driers which was amazing for all the wet and chilly hiking we did. Mario went above and beyond and his recommendations were top notch — would be back in a heartbeat!
