When they say the pictures don’t do it justice… this is the case! We traveled with three couples, and this home was absolutely incredible. It is immaculate, beautifully stocked, and thoughtfully designed so everyone has plenty of private space. And the views? Truly indescribable. Wildlife is everywhere and the property feels incredibly peaceful, private, and quiet. One of the highlights was access to the private beach — miles of beautiful, swimmable beach practically all to ourselves. It was absolutely magical. We also had Pacific Expeditions arrange whale watching and zip-lining, and Chef Chino prepared dinner for us one evening. Every experience was 5-star. The host’s guidebook was also fantastic and led us to some wonderful restaurants. Sibus and Los Laureles were particular highlights. If your dates are open, don’t hesitate — book it!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, Cynthia and Ozzy, for sharing such a special piece of paradise with us. We absolutely loved our stay! ❤

Beautiful house perched on the heights 15 minutes from Uvita, in the middle of a true Garden of Eden. We enjoyed the pool as a family until dark. Private beach access is the icing on the cake: a beautiful beach with water that's almost too warm... and a refreshing little river that flows into the ocean there. Incredible. Thank you for your impeccable management, Cynthia. You were very professional and responsive. Finally, the housekeeping team works wonders every 2 days. It's very useful, because the house is in the middle of the jungle... there is no air conditioning in the living rooms, but the open house concept allows you to make the most of the environment. The bedrooms are air-conditioned and comfortable, each with its own bathroom.

Our family had an amazing stay at Cynthia’s home! She welcomed us personally, showed us around the property, shared great restaurant recommendations, and even helped us find a boat captain who gave us the perfect customized tour. The home was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. The private beach was just a short drive away, where my son loved body surfing in the moderate waves. It was quiet, beautiful, and the freshwater creek was perfect for cooling off. One of our favorite parts of the trip was the wildlife. Every morning we enjoyed coffee while watching scarlet macaws, toucans, and white-faced monkeys from the property. Watching monkeys play in the trees while I was showering was such a uniquely Costa Rican experience! The pool was the perfect place to end each day, with incredible ocean views and unforgettable sunsets. Cynthia is a wonderful host, and we made so many great family memories here. We’re already planning our next trip here!

We loved the house. My husband and 2 daughters (21 and 14) stayed for a week. The house is on top of the hill, private locations, private beach and lots of fun tours and activities to do. Loved the place and would recommend to others:)

5 star stay at La Experiencia! House is as described, communication with Cynthia (the host) was excellent. The private beach is a game changer, with a fresh water creek and unspoiled beach virtually all to your self. The pool and view of the jungle and ocean are spectacular. Non stop tropical birds right from the back deck. The house was comfortable. Uvita is a great home base for central and southern Costa Rica, there is so much to do within an hour’s drive.

We had such an amazing time at Cynthia’s place. The views are gorgeous. We would be swimming in the pool and the monkeys would be playing in the trees. It was such a cool experience. The restaurants she recommended were perfect! We enjoyed the excursions she recommended. She made planning so easy. The house was beautiful. The pictures don’t show how beautiful it really is. I’d highly recommend this place! We plan on coming back!

Book it! What a beautiful house and a breathtaking view! Cynthia was attentive, responsive, and helpful when it came to suggesting restaurants or excursions. Excellent bird watching from the pool side - pack your binoculars!! House was gated, which made us feel safe. Appliances all worked well - I LOVED cooking in this kitchen! Chef Kevin also came and cooked us a delicious meal. Other tips: buy your booze at DutyFree at the airport. BM Grocery store is a short drive. Favorite restaurant: La Parcela (breathtaking views and monkeys!!).

What a wonderful place to stay and vacation! The home is perfectly located and has the most stunning views! The home was stocked with everything we would need to make us comfortable for the week, and our hosts were so gracious and kind! The home was clean and exceeded our expectations!

This was our first time in Costa Rica. The property is breathtaking, incredibly private and has everything you could possibly need. The maid service every other day was superb. We booked the chef for dinner the night we arrived and were so glad we did. We arrived to find the power out amidst a downpour and Cynthia was there to greet us and help us get settled. The chef was still able to prepare a sumptuous meal (we had beef tenderloin and mahi mahi) even with the power out. The food was incredible! Cynthia came back the next day to go over everything we needed to know and answer all of our questions. The dinner recommendations were amazing. We ate at Citrus, La Parcela, and Los Laurelas (best fish tacos!). We cooked several dinners there on our own. We chose to rent a car and it was ready and waiting for us at the house - a great service. They came to pick it up when we were done. I can’t say enough about this location. Incredible stay! Easy to get to and the beach is so close and private. We loved all the aspects of the house and property. A true Gem!! The hosts are amazing and so helpful! We had a chef come for many meals and the house was a perfect set up for the great meals! The sunsets from the back porch were breathtaking!
