Villa Cala exceeded every expectation! The photos simply don’t do it justice. It’s even more beautiful in person, well-stocked, and comfortable. We stayed for our wedding in La Fortuna, and getting ready for our ceremony there made the experience unforgettable. We loved the privacy and peaceful atmosphere so much that we extended our stay! Santiago was a fantastic host; he was responsive, helpful, and accommodating when our arrival was delayed. His directions made the villa easy to find through the Hotel Los Lagos entrance. There wasn’t a Villa Cala sign yet up on the property yet, but we had no trouble finding it using Santiago’s detailed instructions. Access to the hotel’s facilities was a lovely bonus and we used the hot springs to our advantage! Santiago also organized for us to get a couples massage at the villa which was a phenomenal experience!!! We couldn’t have imagined a more romantic place to begin married life. We’d return in a heartbeat! Book it, you won’t be sorry!

Santiago's place is perfect. Just as beautiful as in the pictures. Spotless house. Everything is impeccable. Lots of kitchen utensils and excellent amenities. Highly recommended. Santiago is also a wonderful host who is very proactive and attentive. 11 out of 10!

Wow wow wow! Santiago was simply a fabulous host! Loved our stay at Villa Cala! Gorgeous home and surroundings! Views of Arenal Volcano abundant especially from the incredible hot tub! Also enjoyed the included Los Lagos hot springs as a great bonus! We had so much fun exploring this area. Enjoyed our week at Villa Cala! Hope to come again someday!

Santiago has to be one of the best host ever! We had an incredible stay and will absolutely be back to stay in the same Arbnb. Anyone that that wants a mind blowing experience, should rent one of Santiago’s villas!

This airbnb has breathtaking views of volcan arenal and everyday we were visited by wildlife. I stayed here with my boyfriend and had the best time enjoying the rain shower, dinner and breakfast on the patio, relaxing in the hottub, and swimming in the resort hotsprings. The properties host Santiago met us on arrival for the house tour, helped us bring our belongings inside, and booked excursions for us. Overall this stay made my time in La Fortuna unforgettable, I would recommend 1000x over and can’t wait to be back. Pura vida!

Villa Cala is a dream vacation spot if you want privacy, nature, beautiful surroundings, and luxurious home. It was jaw dropping the moment we walked inside. The master bathroom and bedroom is incredible ! Living area and kitchen provides all the comfort and you can see outside like you are one with nature. Even the toilet area has a view! You just want to stay here forever. Leaving was the saddest part. Santiago , our host is very responsive and helpful. Cheerful and kind, treated you like family. The best AirBnB!

I travel to many Airbnbs in many countries, and THIS one, hands down, is the best I’ve ever been to. Santiago is very proactive with messaging you before you even arrive. He is the coolest host you will meet! The place is a little hard to find, but once you get there, your mouth hits the pavement as you take in the view. Once the door opens, I felt like I was in MTV Cribs: Costa Rica Edition! The detail in the architecture in both bedrooms is stunning. The master shower is a studio apartment in itself! The panoramic views are breathtaking, as I took many showers lol. The aroma throughout the entire place is heavenly, and the preciseness in cleanliness is amazing. There are two balcony views in each bedroom, giving you both the Volcano view and the forest view. The jacuzzi is the size of a huge plunge pool and is kept at the perfect temperature. The sunbathing area is beautiful, with so much green eye candy surrounding you. Full kitchen, grill, W/D. If you are thinking, JUST BOOK IT!
