We had a wonderful stay in Casa Rufina Oaxaca! Our group of five had an amazing time, and the location couldn’t have been better. It was within easy walking distance of so many great restaurants, bars, and attractions, which made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The home was beautifully decorated with a stylish boho-chic aesthetic that made it feel warm, inviting, and unique. We also really appreciated the housekeeping service the maid did an excellent job cleaning while we were out sightseeing, and it was so nice to come back to freshly made beds each day. It felt like staying at a hotel with the comfort of an Airbnb. The only minor issue we experienced was the hot water. It was available, but it took quite a while to warm up. Also, the rooftop water feature was more of a small pool than a functioning jacuzzi. Since the evenings can get chilly, it would have been even better if the jacuzzi jets and heating were working. Overall, we had a fantastic experience!

Great house and host. Very quick on communications and the welcome Mezcal bottle was the perfect start to the vacation. The lady who was there cleaning the house was very helpful with recommendations and keeping the house very clean. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful and has a great location. The space is great giving everyone enough privacy and spaces to gather. We were a group of 8 and felt comfortable. The location is walkable to all the main areas in Oaxaca. It is very central without being right in the center of things were it may have been to busy and loud. The house was equipped and decorated with very nice local artesanal amenities which created beautiful spaces. The host is super responsive and helpful. We had an issue with not having hot water and they had technicians at the house to resolve the issue. Any recommendations or questions were answered immediately. I would gladly return to this house and highly recommend to any group of friends or family for a visit to Oaxaca.

We absolutely loved our stay at casa Rufina. The house was so beautiful & clean. The rooftop was magnificent. Every room was so comfy & we just felt right at home. Sofia & Beatriz were so easy to communicate with & had so many amazing recommendations for dinner & fun things to do. I highly recommend staying here. You truly can’t find a better place to stay in Oaxaca. Thank you both for everything!!

The most adorable place is the best part of Oaxaca City. Traditional design with modern elements. I look forward to returning.

This place was spectacular! We had 3 couples and 3 singles and all thought the pictures did not do the place justice and loved that each room had its own bathroom. Also, the housekeepers were great. In short, we loved the place, and the location was quiet but well situated in centro so everything was close. We couldn’t be happier with our stay here!

Perfect stay at Casa Rufina! We just wanted to say thank you for such a wonderful stay at Casa Rufina! From start to finish, everything was seamless—your communication was so prompt and thoughtful, which made us feel incredibly welcomed and cared for. The home itself is a gem—beautifully decorated, with every detail carefully considered. We loved discovering all the cozy corners, each perfect for a quiet coffee or joyful conversation. It truly felt like a space made for connection and memory-making. And the location couldn’t have been better—just steps away from two incredible restaurants, EDO OMAKASE and Adamá, and within walking distance to great coffee spots, local shopping, downtown, and even more amazing food. Stay here! The pictures do not do justice to the space. We were a group of nine, and the layout was perfect for gatherings, but also had plenty of space for each of us to have some alone time. We loved the upper terrace, with the pool. Used the terrace every night! And perfectly located…we could walk to everything. Host was incredibly responsive to all of our questions. We did not want to leave, but will definitely stay here again.
