Casa Buddha Main House

A wonderful home in a convenient walkable location for the beach and great local restaurants. Extremely quiet for sleeping, wonderful mornings with monkeys, birds and sunshine hitting the beautiful wrapping outdoor porch. The pool and back yard are comfortable and provide shade for the hot afternoons. This house had many more small touches and thoughtful details compared to most rentals in Costa Rica. Jennifer had everything you would need and a comfortable tasteful interior. This home is situated on a sloped property that allowed for better views because you are up high. It also allowed for great privacy from the 2 apartments on the one side of the ground floor of this home and the property beside. I would highly recommend this main house Casa Buddha rental for 4 adults.

Very cosy place with a personal touch in a quiet surrounding. The pool is a great asset and we loved that there was protected from the sun. Walkable distance to the beach even though the road to get there is not really adapted to pedestrians.

We absolutely loved Casa Buddha! Very comfortable, clean and centrally located, we found it ideal for our week stay. The ambiance, artwork and lovely outdoor spaces add to the sweet vibe, and Jen was incredibly helpful with everything. We felt safe and well taken care of!

Casa buda was The PERFECT set up for our stay. Great location! Walking distance to the beach, close to great restaurants. Casa buda had all the amenities!! Daisy left us clear instructions for everything we might need. She goes above and beyond. The place was clean and nicely decorated. The pool and outside shower were ideal for washing off after the beach and going for a quick morning swim. The kitchen and living room were lovely for cooking and relaxing. I will be staying here for sure the next time i’m in costa rica. I highly recommend Casa Buda❤️

We had an extended stay at Casa Budha while working remotely. House was awesome and WiFi worked like a champ (multiple Zoom calls no problem). Best part is the outdoor deck which wraps around 1/2 the house. Can’t beat sipping a coffee in the hammock and watching the monkeys swing between trees. Hosts were on top of it when we had any questions. Playa Grande is an amazing small surf town with a handful of great restaurants and laid back vibes. Casa Budha is right down the street from two of the better restaurants and about 1km from the beach - easy bike or walk. Highly recommend staying here.

Great bungalow and Daisy was a wonderful guest. The space and pool were private and we had access to a washer and dryer, a game changer. An added bonus was the filtered water from the refrigerator - we didn't have to buy water! The only thing I would recommend, and it has nothing to do with the property, is that you rent a vehicle (preferably a 4x4). The larger grocery store isn't really walkable and without a vehicle, restaurants are limited as well. All in all, an amazing stay!

Casa buda is a beautiful space. Really sets the mood for the whole area. Loved our stay.

Great location, pool, and porch hang out area. Super clean and super fast internet - the two of us were able to work remotely for a week and had no issues. Can’t wait to come back, I miss it already!
