At Casa Buddha we offer a back-up battery generator so even when there was an electrical outage for an hour in our area during your stay, you never lost high speed internet and were still able to work remotely successfully in a third world country! Pretty amazing.  Happy we were able to successfully accommodate you.

If you would have let us know you were having Wifi issues we could have reboot the system for you. Several people use for Zoom and work and have no issues.

Yes, having a vehicle is definitely better especially if you want to explore more beach front other than the main surf point in Playa grande and beyond. I will mention you get away without having 4x4 in the summer months but in rainy season, especially the end of rainy season  if you want to go off the beaten path 4x4 can absolutely be necessary.
