Rudy and his place were both amazing! This made our vacation in Costa Rica perfect. Rudy was a fantastic host. Welcoming, kind, and very communicative. Helpful in answering many logistical questions we had. Such a great guy! The house was wonderful. Bedrooms and bathrooms well air conditioned. Beds were super comfortable. Main room had lots of ceiling fans and ventilation to keep it comfortable. The pool was amazing. Kitchen had everything you need. The location was perfect - private but close to restaurants, beaches, and tourist attractions. Would absolutely love to stay again.

What a spectacular home! Expansive interior, soaring ceilings and lots of glass in a gorgeous jungle setting. Monkeys and tropical birds high up in the trees as you swim in the thoughtfully designed tiled pool. From a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and lots of clean towels — this home was perfect for a family of 4. The green and private outdoor space make Rudy’s home one of the most luxurious we have stayed in. Yes the beaches were nice, but Rudy’s home is what made this trip memorable. Highly recommend.

Rudy's place is beautiful, and the location in the mountains is peaceful. Central living space is not air conditioned, but the house design tends to keep it cooler than outside anyway. Bedrooms are air-conditioned. Kitchen is well-equipped, and the outside patio with the pool is a fabulous place to chill out and cool off after a day of activity. Recommended.

A great home in a beautiful setting, you are in the jungle and can appreciate all it offers! What a fabulous place, large rooms, great outdoor space and pool. We enjoyed watching and hearing the toucans, monkeys. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again!

Our first visit to Manuel Antonio and Rudy was super helpful beforehand with local information. The house is better than the photos. It’s surrounded by amazing trees in a safe, gated estate called Canyon Verde. We could easily walk into Manuel Antonio, although we needed a car to get to the beach and national park. We appreciated all the supplies provided including welcome bottle of wine! The pool was lovely. Beds super comfy. We watched monkeys move through trees, saw woodpeckers and a snake! The property is very well maintained.

I feel at home here. The house and pool are private. I have stayed at Rudy's place twice. Looking forward to the third, fourth, and many more times. We saw red macaws, monkeys, and agoutis from the house. Walking distance to my favorite place to eat: Victoria's Italian Restaurant.

We had a great time at Rudy's house, I'd buy it in a heartbeat ☺️ The house was spotless, clean, well maintained. The private pool is a very pleasant bonus. 2 bedrooms each with toilet and shower, spacious suite. Correct bedding. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer is really essential for a period of 15 days. Kitchen equipped with all necessities. We were able to enjoy the barbecue on one of the 2 terraces. House in a private courtyard equipped with an electric gate with a discreet guard. Close to the beach, Manuel Antonio restaurants, about 10 minutes' drive. I recommend renting a vehicle to get around because the roads have a steep slope. Otherwise there is the bus within a 10-minute walk. The house is surrounded by a jungle with a wide variety of fauna and flora. It's amazing. Rudy is very responsive, showed us the way to the villa where Lesber was waiting to welcome us.

Rudy is a wonderful communicator. He was clear about the pricing before I booked our stay. We drove from Liberia airport to Manual Antonio which took us 6.5 hours in traffic. His property manager Lesber was great! I texted him updates & Lesber was patiently waiting for us at 10pm when we arrived in the rain. Lesber answered all of my questions immediately during our stay. Rudy’s place was clean with towels, kitchenware and everything we needed for our stay. Including Monopoly which our 9 year old son loved! The pool was clean and refreshing! It’s a perfect location and all our excursions (zip lining & mangrove boat tour) easily picked us up from the Canyon Verde entrance (showed in the listing photos). I highly recommend El Avion for yummy eats and ocean views. Google Maps (for USA iPhones) worked perfectly for us. We were pleasantly surprised that the A/C worked so well in the bedrooms, down to 68 degrees. We slept like babies. I highly recommend Rudy’s place. Pura Vida!
