El espacio Casa Sabura es una encantadora casa de estilo balinés decorada con muebles artesanales de África, Asia y Costa Rica. Está ubicada a solo 1 km de Playa Avellanas, una de las mejores playas para surfear en Costa Rica.

Casa Sabura fue construida a medida con ventanas de piso a techo que rodean la casa. La habitación principal tiene una cama king size, la segunda habitación en el piso superior cuenta con dos camas individuales. Cada habitación tiene una puerta corrediza que da acceso a la terraza que rodea la casa. Ambas habitaciones están equipadas con unidades de aire acondicionado independientes.
La tercera habitación, ubicada en la planta baja, tiene una cama queen size y está junto al segundo baño con ducha.
Entorno y Actividades
La propiedad circundante crea un ambiente tropical y una conexión con la naturaleza. Disfruta de tu café matutino mientras los monos se desplazan de árbol en árbol y los loros vuelan sobre tu cabeza.

Aunque Casa Sabura está en un entorno bastante aislado, está cerca de varios restaurantes, incluido Lola’s, uno de los más famosos de Costa Rica. La ciudad de Tamarindo está a solo 25 minutos en auto, lo que facilita abastecerse y pasar tiempo en una zona más turística si lo deseas.

- Además de los monos e iguanas que frecuentan la propiedad, hay una abundancia de otra fauna que puede incluir serpientes, arañas, escorpiones, hormigas, etc.
- Aunque son relativamente inofensivos, algunos huéspedes han expresado preocupación al ver algunos de estos animales en la propiedad.
- Si esto representa un problema para ti, recomendamos no reservar Casa Sabura y sugerimos que Costa Rica podría no ser el destino ideal para tus vacaciones.
- Preferimos mantener Sabura en su estado más natural y no aceptaremos cancelaciones ni ofreceremos reembolsos por encuentros con los habitantes naturales de Costa Rica.
- Muchos de nuestros huéspedes vienen a Sabura para vivir la experiencia de ver estas maravillosas criaturas en su hábitat natural.
Aunque la casa está en una zona segura, siempre es recomendable mantener los objetos de valor bajo llave y fuera de la vista. Se proporciona una caja fuerte para estos artículos.
También recomendamos rentar un SUV para acceder a la casa, especialmente en la temporada de lluvias, ya que los caminos pueden deteriorarse con el mal tiempo.

My family and I stayed at Alan and Sue’s place in Playa Avellanas and what an amazing place it was! From the wildlife to the authentic and slowed down pace of the town was exactly what my family and I needed! The place was clean and well cared for, and Alan and Sue were very communicative! We would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great getaway!

Our family of 5 had a fantastic stay in Playa Avellanas. The place looks just like the photos and the kitchen was well stocked. Our kids loved the pool and the hammocks. We took surfing lessons at the beach and enjoyed pizzas at the nearby restaurant. One day we saw howler monkeys from the balcony. We would definitely come back to stay.

This house was lovely. You can tell it was designed with love and a clear idea. We enjoy to travel to unique Airbnb's and this certainly was filled with character. The kids loved the pool and we played cards in the covered patio.

Casa Sabura is a little oasis in Playa Avenellas. Though we had a car, we could walk to all the great nearby restaurants (and there are many!). It's also a short walk to the beach. We appreciated the kitchen, two bathrooms, the cozy beds, and the surroundings. It honestly feels like you're staying in a treehouse. It has a more Costa Rican vibe than many of the newer places nearby -- so if that's what you're going for, you'll get it here. It was also great to have the pool to cool off in. If you've had too much sun elsewhere (and you will!), the pool is a little sanctuary from the sun, especially in the afternoon.

We had a great stay at Alan and Sues Airbnb. The outdoor area was superb and the beds were very comfortable. Our only complaint would be that we found the pool quite murky with a lot of brown sludge on the bottom, with no pool vacuum available. That would be our only complaint! The rest of the home was exactly as described!

This home was not available for our entire stay in CR. In hindsight, I am happy we got to diversify our trip. This house is a gem but it’s location is somewhat isolated: 20 min of gravel road to the nearest town. It’s a 40 min drive to Tamarindo. Playa Avellanas is very small with just a few convenient stores and restaurants thus planning ahead for groceries is essential. It has a gorgeous beach with great waves. The house is 1.2 km from the beach access and the famous Lola’s restaurant. It’s location is secured behind a large gate. The home is a gorgeous wooden structure with a majestic ceiling. The outdoor lounge/kitchen by the superb pool was so enjoyable. The main 2nd floor area with its well equipped kitchen and its sliding doors made you feel like you were suspended in the trees. It was so peaceful to listen to the birds and the breeze swirling in the leaves. This was a beautiful environment to end our stay in CR.

This home worked perfect for our trip to Costa Rica. The pool and outdoor space was amazing. We loved having the two rooms upstairs with the main house and the extra room downstairs because we brought my dad with us and it gave him his own space. We heard monkeys howl in the mornings and had the flexibility to either walk or drive down to the beach. Also the home had spices and oils on hand which was great given how far our you are from a full market. The only thing I wish it had was a washer and drier.
