The Space
Cabas Toucan offers a peaceful and relaxing retreat surrounded by nature, featuring stunning views of the Los Caballos valley. Wake up to the sound of birds visiting the property and enjoy your morning coffee on the open terrace before setting out for your daily adventures. After a day of activities, unwind by the shared pool.
The cabinas include a roomy bedroom with a double bed suitable for two guests, along with a reading nook and a desk. The bedroom connects to a bathroom with a shower through one door, and to a dressing room through another. A large sliding glass door opens onto a small terrace in front of the casitas, where you can enjoy coffee at a small table. The terrace extends to provide direct access to sun loungers and the shared pool.
Between the two casitas, there is a spacious covered terrace that includes a living area, a sink, and a barbecue at the back. The second casita can be rented to accommodate two additional guests.
Guest Access
Guests have access to the cabinas, the shared swimming pool, and the garden pool. A short walk down the road leads to the river on the Valley of the Horses estate, where guests can safely swim.

Our manager will reach out to assist you with details such as your arrival time, the meeting point near the house, local activities, restaurants, and nearby hospital information to ensure a smooth and comfortable stay.
We recommend avoiding travel during evening or nighttime hours, as the roads can be hazardous and it becomes more difficult to navigate after dark. Please plan to arrive at the villa before 6 p.m.
It is advisable to rent a 4x4 vehicle for easy access to the property and to explore the surrounding area.

Property overlooking the valley of horses, the place is perfect for rest. Isabelle was able to welcome us with professionalism. There aren't many places in the area that offer this type of service, especially with a pool and at such a competitive price. Contrary to previous reviews, the internet is present with impeccable speed. For nature lovers, whether birds or mammals, there is plenty to see at all hours of the day. Thank you Isabelle

Go ahead without hesitation! It's a slice of paradise in the middle of nowhere, you can observe lots of birds, turkeys etc… the pool is great, the place is great too and very well maintained! David was great with us and taught us a lot so thank you again!! It was a great sharing! We went to the river where we were alone in the world it was really peaceful, the main road is not far at all, we had a 4x2 geely and it goes largely in dry season no problem! So refreshing after our 15-day trip, we were missing that to close our beautiful stay!!

Unfortunately, neither the Wi-Fi worked, nor did you have reception there via the regular network - I was informed beforehand that the Wi-Fi was broken, but that you also did not have any reception via the normal mobile network, when I arrived, the accommodation was still stained by the predecessor and so I had decided to look for something else over New Year.

It is a quite hidden place on a difficult to access property, we did not have Internet and the owner did not achieve a solution, for those who like a very natural and quiet environment away from the environment, it is a good option.

This place is magical! We had a wonderful time and would definitely recommend it. The view in the morning is breathtaking. We spotted many birds including toucans from the patio. Make sure you check in before dusk as it can be tricky to find. The hot water and electricity was reliable which is a plus. However, the internet did not work and there was no cell coverage which didn’t bother us much.

Isa was a wonderfull host. She helped us a lot during our stay with groceries, stores, rides and even helped us find a great mechanic to fix our car. The place is really beatiful with an awesome pool and view to the mountains. Aside from not having a kitchen and no air conditioning -it had a fan (but still it was really hot, specially during summer) I would definitely recommend this place. Price was perfect as well. It had everything we needed. Easy to get to Perez Zeledon or even Uvita and sorroundings.

Had an amazing time! The area is wonderful and peaceful! If you love nature this is the right place to be! The room is perfect, nice desk for working and they did carefully added few details like candles to make the experience and ve better !
