Very nice place in the middle of the jungle. There is more than enough inside the property to have a great stay. The Internet didn't work for a day, but Mikulas took care of it very quickly. It was a bit annoying, but not bad. Overall, everything was great!

perfect house - everything was really really fantastic! Beds are very comfortable, great WiFi, very good equipment in the house, superb views, great chance to spot animals directly in the garden (sloth, parrots, Tukans, frogs, monkeys, Iguanas)… better than in the nearby National Parks, If the house is available, take it, if possible for more days - it’s worth every penny!!!

Mikuláš’ place was absolutely fantastic! We had a magical stay for 3 nights in August. Although it was the rainy season, the property is designed so that you can still enjoy being outside on the raised deck area. The wildlife in the garden was incredible, we spotted a sloth, monkeys, parrots, frogs and toucans. The property location was fantastic - it felt private and secluded but was within easy reach of amenities and the beach! The property is well equipped, spacious and perfect for our family of 5 with three teenage children. We would highly recommend! Thank you

We had an amazing stay! The house is beautifully located (and very private) in the middle of the jungle, surrounded by a stunning garden full of wildlife. During our stay we spotted monkeys, sloths, iguanas, lizards, and many other animals right from the property – an unforgettable experience! The views are incredible, and the pool table was a fun bonus after a day of exploring. The kitchen is very well equipped, and we especially appreciated the large refrigerator. Archie was a fantastic host who responded quickly to all of our questions and requests, making us feel very welcome. The only adventurous part was the steep road leading up to the house. Fortunately, my husband and our 4x4 handled it without any trouble, and it simply became part of the adventure! We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique jungle experience in Costa Rica.

We couldn't have chosen a better location for our stay on the Caribbean coast. The house was pretty increadible and just like the photos. Unfortunatly we arrived in pretty terrible weather so weren't able to do the things like snorkeling we'd come for but it was great to have house surrounded by nature to shelter from the rain. It was great to be high up in wet weather as lots of beach front villas had thier gardens flooded. AC was a must and not available at a lot of rentals on this coast. Would definatly recommend for a high end stay. We loved the two national parks and Punta Uva beach for swimming and sunsets (south end by the Caribbean food stall). The Point in Peurto Viejo served the best burgers we've had anywhere with great atmosphere. Have the Carribean burger! Hope to make it back again sometime in better weather!

My family’s stay at Casa Malvina was amazing. The property is stunning, set right in the jungle with tree top and ocean views. We saw and heard toucans, macaws, howler monkeys, spider monkeys, agoutis and more every day. The pool is wonderful to cool off in the heat and humidity of the Caribbean coast. My kids loved learning how to play pool on the pool table (on the deck in the jungle, so cool:) There is a market at the bottom of the hill and t’s just around the corner from the Jaguar Rescue Center and Punta Uva, one of the nicest beaches in the area. The house is beautiful and spacious. Only things to be aware of: 1) AC in the top floor bedrooms only, not the bottom 2 bedrooms 2) The property is at the top of a steeep hill. I rented an all terrain vehicle and while we skidded a bit turning into the driveway we made it just fine, but there’s no way a taxi, tuk tuk or car would have made it. We can’t wait to go back and hopefully stay longer!

From the moment of booking to departure, communication was excellent. All our questions were answered in a timely manner. The place is exactly as described. The beauty of the jungle around the house allows you to completely relax. We were able to see a lot of animals. A great experience for us as nature lovers. The house is highly recommended for people who like the jungle.

Beautiful house. I could have spent the entire vacation sitting on the porch watching the wildlife.
