Our stay was incredible and Sebastian made sure we had everything we needed with local recommendations. The area is a dream world of local beach town, with lots to do in the surrounding area. Cannot recommend this stay enough, hope to be back soon.

We had a wonderful stay in Potrero, and Sebastián was an exceptional host. From the beginning, he was welcoming, attentive, and very responsive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our visit. His hospitality truly made a difference. He was always available when we had a question or needed assistance, while also giving us the space to relax and enjoy our time with family. Everything was handled with care and professionalism, and we felt very comfortable and well taken care of throughout our stay. The place has wonderful views lots of space and everything you need. Depending on your sleep arrangements you might want to check first in case additional bedding is needed for your group. Overall, very clean. Thank you, Sebastián, for helping make our visit to Potrero such a lovely and memorable experience. We would happily stay with you again and definitely recommend you to other guests!

We loved The Sanctuary for our group of 10 adults. Each couple had their own bedrooms with private bathrooms and kitchenettes. The main kitchen had all the amenities we needed for cooking/grilling! The home was gorgeous and the pictures did not do it justice! We took advantage of the massage therapists that Sebastian had recommended and had in-house massages! The grounds keeper/security guard was fantastic—we loved the secured gate! Sebastian was extremely responsive and provided great information for the area! We saw monkeys in the trees behind the house, so many birds, and other beautiful wildlife from our patios! We would definitely recommend this incredibly beautiful home and can’t wait to come back! Pura Vida!

Our host Sebastian made us feel right at home with a personal meet and greet. The place is amazing! It’s beautiful and spacious. On my next visit I will not hesitate to stay here again!

My three adult kids, their spouses and their children all gathered with me to have a wonderful, week long summer vacation~The two swimming pools, the front yard beach, the nearby restaurants, the close-by attractions were all perfect and easily accessible. Sebastian was SO helpful at checking us in, and then quickly answered all our questions and concerns over the week that we were there. We were very grateful for a beautiful home to gather together~

The Sanctuary is just that! What a beautiful home and location. Being next to the estuary and just about the last home on beachfront was fabulous! The calm, warm waters of the bay were perfect for our family of 10 (2 young children). Honestly, the home is even more special in person. The pools were pristine and the grounds beautifully cared for. We felt super safe with all the security in place by the host, but the area around felt safe and welcoming as well. There are plenty of local restaurants, and Sebastian gave great recommendations and a local market we frequented when grilling. Sunsets every night right in front of us, and howler monkeys at dusk and dawn - could we ask for more? Sebastian was super responsive, linens wonderfully soft, and air conditioning and WiFi perfect. The home was more than we have ever done, but it was worth every penny. Responsible adults are definitely needed with 2 pools and children, but I’d assume all would know this. Amazing place!

Beautiful home right on the water. Plenty of space and privacy. Sebastian was a rock star taking care of us. For a small fee, even did our initial grocery shopping so we had a full kitchen when we checked in.

Our 6-night stay was perfect! There were 9 of us, and the house had more than enough space for everyone to be comfortable. The restaurants and beach bars were all within walking distance, which made everything so convenient. The host was very responsive, friendly, and easy to communicate with throughout our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Sebastian was amazingly helpful with all our requests and all of his recommendations! The home itself was fabulous from the breathtaking ocean views, to the estuary next door, and the overall elegance of the home. Highly recommend this home, we will definitely come back!!

Our group of 8 loved staying at The Sanctuary. The house was as described with all the amenities someone may need for an extended stay. The location was perfection, sandwiched on a quiet edge of the town between the ocean and an estuary, everything we needed felt perfectly accessible. We were even fortunate enough to have a troop of monkeys pass through the backyard trees one afternoon. Sebastian was a responsive, proactive, and thoughtful host. I would recommend this rental to anyone staying in the area, and have even already discussed returning with friends.
