Amor de Mar is a family owned, eco-friendly, charming boutique hotel located in-front of the main Montezuma Waterfall entrance. Relax in our sun chairs and hammocks to enjoy the spectacular ocean views in a quiet tropical atmosphere. Amapola - 1 queen bed, A/C, mini fridge, private bathroom, coffee/tea maker and private terrace, sea view and work desk. The breakfast menu offers homemade bread, fresh fruit, smoothies, eggs, avocado toast, crepes and more! Breakfast is not included in the price. The space The hotel's intention is to benefit the local community and to respect the delicate ecosystem in which it resides. Amor de Mar operates on eco-friendly principles. We only use 100% biodegradable cleaning materials, dish wash and laundry soap. The bathrooms are equipped with water saving toilets and instant energy saving hot water heaters. We recycle and encourage visitors to refill their water bottles in our lobby. Amor de Mar is active in supporting many community projects such as: the recycle center, the children's orchestra, the local school, and improvement of local infrastructure. The hotel further supports the community by buying food from local providers such as eggs, fruits, jams, and smoked fish. Our organic vegetables are purchased from the local farmers market. The hotel features the work of many talented local artisans, displayed in our lamps, woodwork, decorations and mosaics. Guest access We are here to help you with whatever you need to make your trip unforgettable! We can assist you with booking any tours such as snorkeling at Tortuga Island, zip-lining to the waterfalls, surf lesson or horseback riding. We can also help you with setting up transportation needs and guiding you as best we can during your stay with us. Massages are also available at the hotel for a super relaxing afternoon followed by hammock lounging in the garden. Other things to note The price reflected is our base price. Depending on the season and the room of your choice, the price may be higher or lower. This room is very beautiful and comfortable but we do like to let our guests know that it is close to the restaurant area which opens from 7:30am-12:30pm (breakfast/brunch) only. The room does feature a private cozy terrace, room darkening curtains and sheer white non visibility curtains for added privacy.

Miejsce jest przepiękne, otoczenie i hotel sam w sobie są zapierające dech w piersiach. Wspaniały ogród, widok na ocean, rwąca rzeka i dżungla w oknie… każdy pokój pozwala na kontemplowanie natury z tarasu lub balkonu. Na każdym kroku widać, że ktoś włożył w to miejsce całe swoje serce. Jest mnóstwo kwiatów, ręcznie robionych dekoracji i sama konstrukcja hotelu jest dziełem sztuki. Bardzo się cieszę, że mogliśmy spędzić tam czas.

The art work and decor are original and beautiful. Most of the parking is “street” and the area is business during the day because the trailhead to the waterfalls is across the street. But the waterfalls trail is an overall advantage for the location. Tide pools at lower tides at the property and are worth a dip!

It was perfect for our needs- the place is close to everything. Also have a private yards in front of ocean, we enjoyed the view a lot. The room was cozy and clean. Thank you so much!

We loved Amor de Mar. It is a beautiful and artistically decorated hotel. It is so private and peaceful. I wish we could have stayed for a whole week. Next time!

I loved this place. I spent most my time in the garden on a hammock reading or watching the visiting wildlife. We had a daily dip in the rock pools, highly recommended this place. Lots of georgous plants and trees.

This place is a gem! A small hotel on a beautiful, well-kept site by the ocean. The place feels very private and calm although it’s only a short walk away from all the restaurants and other services. Rooms are comfortable and have AC. Breakfast menu had a lot of delicious and fresh options. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough nice things about this place. If you are going to Montezuma, you must stay here. Would definitely come again.

This is probably one of the best places to stay in Montezuma. It's very private, has a wonderful garden, and is a short walk to the center of town. The room is amazing and has great views. We'd definitely come again soon!

Thank you very much for our stay! The room and the gardens were so well kept and stunning! We were unlucky with the weather but I can only imagine how nice the gardens are in the sun! Easily walkable to the restaurants nearby, would stay again!

This place is amazing!! It’s not too far from town but also hidden in a peaceful & beautiful little sanctuary. If you are visiting Montezuma this is the place to book! The managers are amazing and attentive to anything you may need. The breakfast and coffee are also delicious. And you simply cannot beat the view from the backyard.
