We loved the house. It was definitely wonderful. They were very attentive and responded very quickly to anything that happened. We did suffer a bit because there is no air conditioning, but I'm sure it's perfect in the winter. It's very close to Zicatela and La Punta, no more than 10 minutes away. I would definitely stay here again.

Casa Ollama is an incredible house and experience for architecture and Brutalism enthusiasts visiting Puerto Escondido that unfortunately loses some of its splendor to mediocre maintenance and management. The design of the house made us feel like we were living in a piece of art. Staying here, immersed in nature and in the cutest feline company, felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience we are happy to have spent the extra dollars on to treat ourselves. However, several small maintenance issues and some neighboring construction present when we visited make us hope that the owners will spend these extra dollars on a few projects to make future guests 100% happy to have chosen Casa Ollama for their Puerto Escondido adventure.

very cool brutalist architecture. some very minor hiccups during our stay, e.g. only two towels for five people on arrival, fridge was constantly beeping, and pool maintenance was scheduled during our one-day stay, but the host was very friendly and responsive and did her best to address all concerns promptly. the property is just a few minutes to town/beach by car, but it's a rough road so we were happy to have a 4x4. overall we were happy with our decision to stay here, it's a memorable (and exceptionally photogenic) place!

The house was amazing, and the hosts were always super friendly. We don't know if it was bad luck, but every night there was a lot of noise from dogs barking in the early hours.

Beautiful building. Zicatela is lovely with amazing beaches nearby and beautiful nature. Walkable to the ocean, good taxis. Great if you like being very close to nature.

The response from the 3 hosts was a bit complicated. The house is pet-friendly but they did not indicate that the cats live there, which is uncomfortable for people with allergies. The house is nice but far from the tourist area, you definitely need a car. I think the pool could be an excellent option if the water was warm or hot. On the last day the water went out.

Very beautiful house, as described, the only negative point I would mention is the lack of maintenance, but apart from that everything is very nice, very close to everything, we never took more than 15 minutes to get to the beaches or nearby restaurants, I recommend it!

Perfect stay for Puerto for the four of us. Property as described. The way up to the property is a bis adventurous but totally safe.

Jorge was a very friendly and attentive host; he responded quickly to all our questions and requests. The house is very nice and has an open and eco-friendly concept that makes it special. It is located in a quiet and somewhat secluded area, so it is ideal if you are looking to rest and connect with nature. It is advisable to have a car to get to restaurants, beaches or other places. As it's an open house, there may be insects and the lighting in the rooms is dim, but everything is part of the place's most natural experience.
