The home is absolutely beautiful, well stocked and comfortable. We were greeted by monkeys in the backyard trees, lots of toucans and other birds. The waterfall is a great little walk and refreshing. The outdoor swinging chairs made for the best naps that we had all week! Get up early and soak it in. We did end up with no electricity or any cellular service for approximately 30 hours which was concerning and not very relaxing for us in a new place. We lost most of our groceries which was disappointing but we tried to make the most of it. The management was apologetic but really couldn’t do much to help. The house is close to some markets and the little Ojochal town so it was great. We would definitely stay here again, hopefully with electricity this time.

Amazing place - probably the best we have stayed in. Stunning house. Wildlife everywhere- we had Toucans who would visit every day, and we saw (and heard) the howler monkeys. Pool was excellent. Location was great - peaceful, but close to great restaurants/stores/coffee places. We were planning on staying in Uvita, but glad we chose Ojochal - it’s small, but great vibe. We ate in the village 3 times - all were good, but Citrus probably the best.

A wonderful villa where everything has been thought out and considered to make the most of nature, while enjoying maximum comfort. Very beautiful architecture and lots of little details that make the stay perfect. The view of the waterfall is magical, and we were lucky enough to see toucans around the house several times!

If I could give this home 10 stars, I would! It exceeded our expectations in every way. The house was spotless, beautifully designed, incredibly spacious, and stocked with everything we needed. This was the third home on our Costa Rica vacation, and it was easily our favorite. The private waterfall was such a special touch, and our morning walks around the property became one of the highlights of our trip. There are also several fantastic restaurants just minutes away. The host was wonderful and made the entire experience seamless. We loved our stay so much that we even inquired about buying the home for sale just down the street. We would absolutely stay here again and couldn't recommend it more highly!

Beautiful and private home. Love the ability to hike down to the waterfall. Road is rough getting up that mountain to the house and having a 4x4 is definitely needed. Hosts were quick to respond with any needs. Try to arrive during the day as it’s overwhelming at night trying to locate the home in the dark as CR doesn’t use specific addresses. This house is open, feels beautiful and connected to nature.
