Place looks a lot nicer even than the pictures, we had a problem with the first room but response was quick and we wer given a new room that was lovely. Ideal for couples or people that like hot tubs.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay the hot tub was magical and relaxing. After a long day of excursions I released a lot of tension in the relaxing hot tub. The area was pristine, the third floor area was peaceful and 360 view of the city and mountains with a front row of the volcano. Hosts were so responsive and helpful. Staying here was a breath of fresh air and will have to stay again on my way back from Tamarindo to Limon. I recommend it 1000%!

Staying with Roy in La Fortuna was everything we had hoped for. The location was wonderful as it was very peaceful and away from any road/town noise. On our last night in La Fortuna, we had an amazing dinner at Travessia, which was recommended by Roy in his check-in manual. We also went to the Soda & Restaurante Rodriguez which was right next door to our stay; I would highly recommend for the experience; it is quite special! Overall this is a great location and wonderful place to stay. The only negative I have is that the jacuzzi was not “hot” water whatsoever. The shower was “hot” but the water pressure was very very low compared to the “cold” or even “lukewarm” water pressure. Same for the jacuzzi water pressure. The jacuzzi water flows out “hot”, however bc of the extremely low water pressure, it takes a very long time. It took over 2 hours to fill the tub just barely enough for two people and because of that, the water was barely “room temperature” by the time it was full.

La estadía fue muy agradable, el lugar es bastante bonito y completo. Buena comunicación con el propietario, fácil acceso, el internet muy bien. Algo a considerar es que cuando se va a utilizar el jacuzzi con agua caliente la cantidad de agua que sale es considerablemente poca, lo cual es necesario llenarlo con bastante tiempo. En general una buena experiencia y sin dudas volvería nuevamente a hospedarme en el apartamento.

Roy’s place was perfect! Exactly as described. Perfect location for staying close to town, but not having to be right in town where it’s busy and loud. If we come back to La Fortuna, we will definitely be staying at this place again!

Seguro, céntrico, bien equipado. Considerar que el servicio sanitario no tiene puerta, solamente cortina y está comunicado con los demás espacios.

Convenient location. top notch facility with all amenities for a comfortable stay. Apartment is great for both short and long term stays. Stayed for a few days while visiting Arenal. Perfect location to walk 5mins to all restaurants and main downtown area. Room is spacious and quiet. On-site laundry, rooftop access.
