Nous avons vraiment adoré notre séjour à la Casa Chaca. Tout était réuni pour que nous passions un moment des plus agréables : la piscine, les espaces extérieurs pour s’asseoir et relaxer, ainsi que les kayaks pour aller se promener un peu sur l’eau. Tout était parfait. Nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la présence quotidienne de la femme de ménage ainsi que le jardinier qui prenait soin des lieux. Nous nous sommes sentis vraiment choyés tout au long de notre séjour. Merci pour cette belle expérience !

The place is very peaceful, beautiful and clean. The Place is absolutely stunning. Great for kids to play in the pool, lay on the hammocks, and great for snorkeling and kayaking. Very quiet perfect to just sit and relax by the ocean and the staff if very friendly.

At the end of the bay so very private. This was a nice place to just enjoy time with our friends. Akumal is about a 5 minute drive. Can’t really walk there. Akumal Direct was super helpful because driving in you do have to pay attention to the detailed instructions they give. We did that and we had no trouble at all. House was perfectly clean and waiting for us :) We were all couples and liked the privacy of all the bedrooms. We had some great activities planned for almost every day, and spent a few days just enjoying the beach and snorkeling in front of the house. I would say the key to this excellent vacation was just that we really planned. I had really well and I think that paid off for us. Thank you everyone for a great stay!

Words cannot express what an amazing stay we had at Casa Chaca and in Akumal, but i will give it my best! The house is perfect, our mornings and evenings spent on the sand right out the door, facing the beautiful Caribbean sea and Akumal Bay were unprecedented. We watched the sunrise on the lovely furniture provided every morning, enjoyed the hammock, watched Iguanas and squirrels and drank fresh coconut water from coconuts cut down out of the palm trees for us by Jamie, the groundskeeper. Guille, the property manager, was over the top helpful when we asked where to eat and when our rental car wouldnt start a few times, gathered help from her friends so we could jump start the car and continue on with our vacation. The beach trail to Akumal was amazing, we loved shell hunting and snorkeling in clear blue waters, we kayaked every day with the provided equipment and enjoyed hours of paddling. Neighbors on Akumal Bay were so helpful and even told us when the locals were releasing the baby turtles from their nest to the ocean and were were able to view this amazing part of nature, never imagining we would actually get to! The beds were wonderful, furnishings were beautiful and I could go on and on!Thank you everyone for the amazing memories you all contributed to, we will be back to Akumal and Casa Chaca as soon as we can!

An incredible place to spend some time away from it all. Akumal Sur is a small, private area with approximately a dozen homes along the beach. The house was incredibly private and spacious for our group of 6 friends. We enjoyed the kayaks that are available at the house, and other than that spent time enjoying the yard/beach. We found that there are sunny and shady areas all day to enjoy, so everybody was happy. It's worthy to note that it's good to plan well for your stay, especially if you don't want to have to leave the house. There are no stores or restaurants of any kind within walking distance, and you need to go back out to the highway to find a few options for any basic needs. This is a benefit in terms of privacy and seclusion, but a bit frustrating if you forget anything and have to leave the house (because we never wanted to leave!). Overall I would be very happy to go back and look forward to visiting again as soon as possible.

We had an amazing time at Casa Chaca with our family! As all the other reviews have said, pictures cannot do this place justice. The property was absolutely stunning, with our own access to, and view of, the beach. We checked in based on very precise directions and instructions, and although were not able to meet Guille the property manager, Marcia was in touch with us regularly, and very promptly, about everything from restaurant recommendations to any help we needed on the property. Elena and Jaime, the property staff, were both very kind and hardworking, and even though there was a language barrier, they were keen to be helpful and ensure we were all comfortable. We also consulted David, the concierge, for many suggestions and tips regarding the area and were very happy with his thorough feedback. All their efforts, and the beauty of the property, helped make this a really memorable vacation for my family. Thank you all, we hope to return, and I would highly (!) recommend for a family vacation.
