The Space
The Villas at Cerca del Mar offer luxurious two and three-bedroom vacation rentals in Playa Langosta. Each villa is designed with Moroccan-inspired architecture and includes:

Upon entering, guests are greeted by tropical or water gardens visible from every room, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living. The Great Room opens to the pool terrace and is surrounded by lush gardens.
The custom kitchen is equipped with American-style appliances, including a dishwasher, oven, cooktop stove, refrigerator, and garbage disposal. Adjacent to the kitchen is an outdoor dining area covered by a pergola, featuring a ceiling fan and gas grill.
The Master Bedroom is surrounded by landscaped gardens and has a covered terrace. Its bathroom includes cast stone double sinks, access to tropical gardens, a built-in dressing area, and laundry facilities for added convenience.
Upstairs, the Mirador Bedroom Suite offers views of the Pacific Ocean, a full bathroom with an indoor garden, and a wet bar, making it ideal for entertaining. The third bedroom also has a full bathroom with a shower opening to another interior garden. All bedrooms include ceiling fans, with most also having air conditioning.
The pool and patio areas are fully landscaped and furnished with comfortable seating. The soothing sounds of the outdoor fountain and nearby ocean waves create a relaxing atmosphere.
The villas are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected before each guest's arrival.
Location
Playa Langosta beach is just across the road from the villas, easily accessible from two nearby points. The entrance to each villa is secure and private, with an exterior doorbell for guest use.
Tamarindo is approximately one hour from Liberia Airport. Guests can arrange shuttle services or car rentals through the concierge, often with special rates. Within Tamarindo, informal taxis and ATV rentals are available to explore nearby beaches located about 30 minutes away.

This was a great getaway spot for our family. Easy access to the beach and a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed the pool and large outside table for family dinners. Hosts were not super responsive to requests for finding other activities in the area and could use some additional instructions on locking the house door. Otherwise the house stay was great!

There were 6 of of staying for a week, 2 adults and 4 young adults. There was plenty of space for everyone and the 3.5 bathrooms was perfect. There were plenty of extra linens and the washer and dryer were nice to have. The beds were all comfortable. The bathrooms are open air which was fun, new and interesting. We appreciated the concierge service, which we used a couple of times. We had a great stay and would come back and stay again.

This place was amazing and the check in instructions were very easy. Here for a surf trip with friends and we were right across from the beach, and walking distance from restaurants and markets. Would recommend it to anyone, and the house and pool were great!!

Good communication in advance of arrival with instructions. The location is great, as it's in a more peaceful area in Playa Langosta and we could walk to the beach in just a few minutes. The outdoor pool area is beautiful, which the kids enjoyed. The two king bedrooms were nicely decorated, and the beds were comfortable. There were some hiccups during our stay, however. The main floor, while nicely furnished, is very dark inside and some of the recessed lights were out, so it was hard to see sometimes. Hot water was intermittent, although the management company did send someone to sort it out after a couple of days and got it going again. Note: the 3rd bedroom was listed as having 4 twin beds (there are two beds with trundle beds). However, due to the size of the room, it is not possible to actually pull both trundle beds out at the same time (luckily, we only needed 3). We had a good stay overall, but given the 'luxury' price, I just wouldn't expect these sorts of issues.

The house is amazing, with everything you can imagine and half a minute from the beach (just cross the street). Also, communication with the host could not have been better, always available for any questions. I will definitely be back
